  1. Grindhouse, Fanny & Alexander, Godfather II, Short Cuts, Seven Samurai, Kagemusha
  2. Pulp, but only by a small margin. I've seen over a thousand movies, and they're both in my top 5. My friend and I quote that Nice Guy Eddie line all the time. However, its difficult to reproduce the saliva and chest hair.
  3. The best movie of all time is Brazil. 'nuff said. F&L is a masterpiece by Gilliam and is a marvelous film.

I'm wearing my Ichi the Killer shirt right now. I'm wearing my MrMiltonBanana is awesome shirt right now. Great movie! I'm wearing my Mustard Death is awesome shirt right now. Just kidding, it's still Ichi. Well let me run down my list: Any other Takashi Miike (exceptions: Bird People in China) especially Gozu Suicide Club (Suicide Circle) Anything with Cher in it

  6. I had a party at my house. We watched all six. From noon to 1:30 AM the next day. It was great.

  8. QUOTE (Stian @ May 17 2007, 03:29 PM) I think this is the best of PT Andersons films. The brilliant directing, along with the amazing cast of great actors portraying great characters makes this one a winner. Haven't seen Sydney, though. Would anyone who've seen it recommend it to someone who's enjoyed all of PT's other flicks? Sydney's awesome. You will definately like it.
  9. QUOTE (priest_of_syrinx @ May 12 2007, 12:04 AM) La Villa Strangiato ----> Powerhouse
  10. Boogie Nights is my favorite of P.T. Anderson's four films. For me. 1. Boogie Nights 2. Punch Drunk Love 3. Sydney (Hard Eight) 4. Magnolia. He's a good guy.
  11. Didn't see it, but I had heard good things. Once it gets to my local library I will rent it.
  12. QUOTE (Mustard Death @ Apr 4 2007, 02:43 PM) QUOTE (The Owl @ Apr 4 2007, 12:48 PM) QUOTE (treeduck @ Apr 3 2007, 03:32 PM) If you want a truly overrated director then here it is, I give you M. Night Shyamalan... Signs - Crap The Village - over the top, unconvincing, mind-freezing and sleep-inducingly boring. Unbreakable - totally stupid and laughable The Sixth Sense - THE most overrated film of all time, drawn out, slow, boring and a damp squib of a denouement... I totally don't get why this guy's films are popular... I was going to say Shyamalan as well. I just can't get into his films. And his name is a testimate to how bad horror films were in the 90's (other than Silence of the Lambs) . Concidering he made the "best critically acclaimed" horror film in that decade "Sixth Sense". Hell Eli Roth only has 2 films under his belt and he's a better filmmaker that M. Night Shyamalan. I agree with M. Night being overrated, but Eli Roth just wasn't the person to compare him to... Cabin Fever and Hostel? Woah, Mustard Death. Haven't seen you in a while. Overrated directors? M. Night.
  13. I saw it. Loved it except for SPOILERS Stuntman Mike shouldn't have died. I wanted him to "win." Oh well. Great movie otherise though.
  14. QUOTE (steelcaressed @ Mar 30 2007, 06:17 AM) Overrated too. I always thought Punch Drunk Love was absolutely unwatchable, though many think it's pure Sandler genius. Punch Drunk Love is amazing, but I won't argue too much. The worst movie ever is High School Musical.
  15. I'm a big Criterion Collection guy, and thusly came across this film. Has anyone else seen it? I'd like to discuss this movie. To start things going, when I first saw this movie, I laughed so much when the British roadie from Wayne's World 2 was in it as basically the same character.
  16. QUOTE (goose @ Feb 23 2007, 07:52 PM) QUOTE (MrMiltonBanana @ Feb 23 2007, 01:23 PM) I usually stay stuff from Star Wars. Often Vader's lines. "Impressive....most impressive" "I want them alive" "You are part of the rebel alliance and a traitor" "Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father" "Now..I am the master." I love star wars. No ship that small could have a cloking device! ::high fives::
  17. I love listening to 'Box Set II" that has all the songs "not popular enough" to be on the first box set.

  19. I've seen 2. Departed and Babel. Departed was way better.
