  1. Happy birthday to you my friend!! I Hope Today is a purrrrrrrrrfect day!! :pussy:
  2. Nothing f**k this day and everyone who is and was a part of it.
  3. I hope you get to go. They were one of my last big shows when they did a hits tour quite a few years back. It was front row centre, waited a helluva long time in the queue but so worth it, great memories. It's amazing they're still playing. I wonder the line-up these days. Thank you!! The line Up is Robert, Simon, Jason, Roger, and Reeves. Robert the only orginal member left unless you count Simon but Simon was there 2nd bass player. Roger since 87 but left in the 90's then recently around 2013 ish or so he came back, Jason since the mid 90's after Boris left the band, and then Reeves (Who played with Bowie) since 2008 or so because they didn't ask Perry to come back and Pearl left the band to focus on art. Imo not a terrible line Up but not really true to what Robert wanted (He wanted a band only made Up of his friends, guess he had way too many friends to count lmao) and not really The Cure anymore. I wouldn't mind seeing this show though, I bet it will be amazing and great!! Yeah I saw a great lineup with Porl making an appearance on that tour, Simon, Jason...I'll have to go back to the programme to confirm the others. I actually stood next to the guy that arranged the petition for them to tour down here! It was a major deal with Robert contacting him through the media etc. I pretty much stopped following from Bloodflowers on...Wish was their last great album imo. Anyways, be great to see your show review if you make it. I probably will make a show review, but it wouldn't be to long as I'm not the worlds greatest writer lmao.

  5. I hate respecting things I don’t like! I also hate choices contrary to mine. Enough with the sarcasm tama boy
  6. I disliked your post without even have to read it.... :P Rude
  7. If your hating on something without hearing it your just assuming it was bad, but what if it wasn't?? Stop hating on things for a change and learn to respect other people's choices.
  8. On the other hand, R.E.M. are just simplly amazing as f**k!!
  9. I used to be able to listen to so much music (I loved over 120 bands) but now I can't listen to many bands anymore or i'll just wanna hurl. I honestly don't get it.
  10. every radiohead record creates a huge buzz in the states as well. people here just remember being annoyed by creep 25 years ago, but ask people who don't post on a rush forum what they think Creep is honestly there worst song but it's not god awful.
  11. Not a terrible song but honestly not that great/amazing eather.
  12. Second Encore: Victor Still At the End 3rd Encore: A joke
  13. How can you be so certain it’d be shitty mush? The music hasn’t been made. It almost certainly won’t be made either but still, Geddy and Alex have made some good music without Neil...in a band called Rush. Rush's first album didn't have Neil on it, and 85% of the album was shitty mush for me mate.
  14. Rush is done and they won't continue without Neil, no one could replace Neil anyways plus it wouldn't be Rush anymore, it would be shitty mush.
  15. Anyone with a set of ears noticed Alex flubbing lines more than usual on the R40 tour and Geddy's already weak voice getting worse. Not metioning Peart's elbow problems. Why 3 years later any fan would not only want them to play live again but expect them to not sound cringe-inducing is beyond me. Guys, it's over. It's been over. Accept it. Several reactions to this: 1. You guys saying you wouldn't see them again are full of sh*t. 2. What else do we have to talk about at this point? There's yearly box sets, which inevitably disappoint. And those ridiculous Fantoons. 3. When Geddy says, "you might see the three of us again," how are people supposed to take that? It's a legitimate question. My prediction is that Al and Ged will start some project in earnest next year. All the signals are there. Unless Neil has been more aggressive in his "I'm retired" communications that Ged indicates, I would think they'd see if he's interested in joining them, if only because it's the right thing to do. If he says yes, great. If he says no, I can think of at least 5 drummers who'd drop everything to work and/or tour with Ged/Al. And I believe that if the two of them toured as an "Evening of Rush Music", it would fill arenas and be very profitable. How are we full of shit though? The band doesn't have it in them to tour much anymore, and they called it quits. We can talk about anything OTHER than this annoying topic. He probably doesn't mean as a band, probably just as friends or special events or something. Rush called it quits, there done, it's over, Rush is done, stop this nonsense.

  17. Even if they do play together again, I wouldn't care in the slightest. Besides they should just enjoy retirement, after all they are in there 60's or so now, not much time left. I'd rather see them in good health then see them live anyways.
