  1. Michel Platini's feet made me come several times during the 80s
  2. I still find the Yes line up that recorded Close To The Edge (and Fragile) the quintessence of great musicianship
  3. Mussorgsky's Night On Bald Mountain Richard Strauss' Also Sprach Zarathustra (blame Stanley Kubrick for that) Beethoven's Ode To Joy (blame Ritchie Blackmore)
  4. S/T. Phantom Of The Opera remains my favourite Maiden track.
  5. 1) Randy Rhoads 2) Tony Iommi 3) Zakk Wylde 4) Jake E.Lee The end
  6. I started loving Sabbath before Rush and I don't know now which one of the two bands has a larger portion of my heart, but Rush win these polls anyway (but they might lose some else with always these two bands involved)
  7. I think Ozzy is among the most overrated rock stars ever. Especially after I found out how little he was responsible for and contributed to the music of Black Sabbath. He's a charismatic front man and the perfect singer for the Black Sabbaths, but he's not much else. IMHO. Indeed!!!! In Sabbath days he was in the right place at the right moment and all his solo success is (like it or not) due to Sharon. Having said that, he remains at the very least a great entertainer and I never wasted a single penny everytime I saw him live.
  8. ITTOD easy. P.S.: Is it just my imagination or latest Sabbath elimination poll had less weird scores in the first rounds?
  9. As am I. But I never like to see someone abuse their family and not show some remorse later on. I agree 100% (but sometimes I have doubts about remorse shown later)
  10. In a perfect world I'd love all my music hereos were also the most perfect persons in the universe.. On Planet Earth, I am satisfied enough that they made great music.
  11. Coda. I share the idea that it is not even a proper album
  12. I am among the ones not disgusted by VT; can't say the same of St Anger. And when I thought Metallica could not reach a lower point then came Lulu....
  13. he had the luck to work with Blackmore and Iommi that were both giving birth to unbeliavable new beginnings
  14. I voted for the NIcks' era: Peter Green's FM are a good blues band, albums with Bob Welch are underrated, but sun actually starts shining from 1975 (and I named my female Maine Coon cat Rhiannon!)
  15. I know. "Fleetwood Mac" and "Rumors" are great. Just overplayed. I love the Green blues stuff though more. It's like I love all of the ZZ TOP stuff before MTV crap ELIMINATOR. JMO "Cause every girl crazy 'bout a SHARP DREADED MAN"!.......
  16. Rainbow. But both Heaven and Hell & Mob Rules are fantastic anyway.
  17. Sean Connery is still my favourite JB and I place Pierce Brosnan as second
