Did he literally do that? Tony R posted a picture one time of Neil flipping off the camera backstage. He said it was directed at all the fans

That time he gave the finger to all Rush fans

Actually Rush are from German cause Hitler started the band indirectly

Presto is the Gaines Burgers of Rush music. I have an audiophile friend who's faithfully buying all the new Rush vinyl releases, with the exception of Presto. He said he learned to find something to like about PoW (he's come to like it very much), HYF, and even RTB, but he said he just can't stomach Presto no matter how hard he tries to find something to like. Point is, my rejection means nothing as I easily dismiss things, but he REALLY tried and still couldn't like it. I suggested "The Pass" but it wasn't enough. What an awful album really. Great cover, though. It was a great tour, too. And I love the Presto album, by the way. Well-documented in other posts of mine in other threads, so that will suffice. But seriously, the tour supporting that album was really wonderful. Isn't that the tour where they cut off Xanadu? I think that was Roll the Bones

Why not? You got a point when you look at most of the other threads started in the Rush section. At least a thread about Geddy's fish hasn't already been made over a thousand times. Be grateful I didn't start a thread: Geddy and His Crabs ;) :spitwater: Well, I already saw what people songs people posted here. To add something about it, I think Red Sector A, Territories and Headlong Flight can belong to this list. Red Sector A? No?? Are you sure? Ok then... It's just that, Red Sector A has no bass

Considering the other music of the time that was in a similar 80s style, I would say HYF is very prog Interesting. What particularly about it would you consider proggy? I guess the main things are: playing with song structure, extended instrumental sections, complex playing...it's not as progressive as most of the pre-MP stuff, but compared to the standard musical fare of the time I would say it is It sounds like straight-ahead rock to me. Especially if you compare it to something like Pink Floyds A Momentary Lapse Of Reason, which was released the same year. As far as complex playing I would say it is probably their simplest album as far as that goes. Not to say it's simple in the sense of something like AC/DC, but just simpler than they had been doing. Tai Shan is always the first thing that comes to mind when I think of "straight ahead rock" lol

Why would he do that? He would lose all of his good members. Sometimes necessary sacrifices must be made, in the name of justice -

Yes, you're exactly right. It depends on if you're talking about when it was released or recorded -

There's one problem with your analogy....we're discussing when PeW was created, not released to the public -

Yep, and the address on the right reads St. Petersburg. So these are bootlegs that are being marketed out of Russia for a profit? I think so, looks like you got nailed Zumbi. Just compared the artwork to the original one from Bumblebee. Pretty obvious that it's a Russian fake. I really enjoy it, and I love it. So I donĀ“t care. But you already had it. Not on CD But you could have burnt it onto CD and have a product just as good as what you paid all that money for. You guys will never understand this.... I am a collector!!! What if I took a shit and taped a picture of Geddy's face to it? Would you collect that?
