Ah, after listening to The Speed of Love, Double Agent comes on! So refreshing. The band has again found their testicles.

I'm listening to it again and I will adjust my previous comment to say it's the chorus that doesn't do it for me. For some reason "At the speeeeed of looove" just doesn't work for me. And the music behind the lyrics I find very middle-of-the-road and uninspired. There's a prominent cheesy funk-bass part in the middle of the song that I don't like. I guess the song as a whole just isn't my thing.

Is that more or less than a f*ckton? ;)

Lorraine, I was wondering (if you don't mind me asking) - why do you have dial-up? Is broadband not available where you are? We simply cannot afford another fifty dollar a month bill. Dial-up is ten dollars. If we could do it, we would. If we did it, the money would have to come from the food budget which is stretched enough. :(

Sounds like a San Francisco summer day. Seriously. I'd say most summer days here are in the 60s, with dips into the 50s. We're lucky if the temps reach the 70s. Aaaand that's something that pisses me off - SF "summer." We had a horrid winter unlike any in years. And spring was mediocre, to be kind. Now that we finally have some summer (where it's at least 10 C or 22 F higher daily than today's temperatures), I feel robbed with today's weather. It feels like September. Hopefully it improves tomorrow. What are San Francisco winters like? Do you get any snow? No, we don't get snow. Our winters are very mild, and at the coldest it might dip down to freezing on a couple of nights. Days will be in the 40s and 50s. The past few years the weather has been wacky and we've had warm Januarys with temps from the 60s to the 80s! Normally it only rains here from the beginning of November to the end of May (give or take a couple weeks), but this year we've had almost no rain. It's pretty bad.

I know but people saw me yesterday with my walker wearing a Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon tshirt and gave me the weidest look. Jumped to open doors for me etc the whole was just odd. I had triple orthodesis surgery on my ankle and maan did I ever get used to getting around with this walker. In few days ill get my knee roller to get around a little faster. I also got my handicap sticker of which I'll need with this cast I have for the next 3-4 months. Three of which I won't be working but it's all good I just added 4 titanium screws plates to stabilize them till I meet my end. Anybody else out there feel you are getting old? I can't seem to remember squat! Peace Just in case needing stronger and stronger reading glasses didn't make me feel old, I now have early arthritis in my hip. No no no, I've always liked the album! Let's start the club! HYF, Presto, RTB, T4E, and S&A I wasn't thrilled with. I relistened to Presto, T4E, and RTB these last few days and have to say I actually like them a little more than I originally thought. Still need to relisten to S&A, and I don't know if I can find the courage to relisten to HYF

The neighbors next door got a little potbellied pig and every once in a while I hear him snorting. So cute! It makes me happy when I hear him.

Leftover pineapple & onion pizza. Yesterday I went to the pizza place that I used to frequent as a teenager. My first time there in 30 years. It still tastes the same, and it's still good!

I'm happy to say that my choice of Tom Sawyer has gotten no grief :ebert:

I used to feed my husky vegetables as treats, and to help keep her weight down (after she was spayed she tended towards overweight). A few carrots/celery sticks make a nice crunchy treat that the dog can hold with their paws, and it's healthy for them!
