The Gorge San Diego Maybe another Bay Area Show San Antonio Nashville Memphis Orlando Miami Milwaukee Cleveland Pittsburgh Indianapolis Cincinnati Then some other smaller ones (like a Tulsa) Little Rock El Paso Albequrque
  2. Im definitely going to see them in Austin (its outside, a Saturday, and my birthday), considering Tulsa and Dallas as well
  3. No that was a girlfriend at the time, we dated spring of my senior year and broke up before heading off to college. Nice girl, I think she is now an attorney, but not wife material, which is where I hit the jackpot (less than 48 hours after giving birth)
  4. Hmmm have some decisions to make- Dallas show is about an hour and 40, so closest, Tulsa is about 4 hours and thats the opening night. Ausint is about 4 hours, plus its outdoors and my birthday...... very pumped!!!!

When I was a kid, the family would go camping at a nearby campgrounds with other families. We had one of those classic Starcraft campers, and every night, at least one damned whippoorwill would be close by, singing ALL NIGHT LONG..... :rage: I didn't sleep a wink...... :rage: My brother lived in a little cabin a couple miles out of town, had tin siding and roof, and a huge canopy of old oak trees. There was a whipoorwill that lived in one of the trees right next to the cabin, you could hear him all night in the summer clear as a bell. He told me he would pay me 100 bucks if I could shoot it, but neither of us ever saw it. Not necessarily bird related, but one night his cat caught a flying squirrel. Had no idea we had them around here, they are nocturnal as well
  8. No date set. I started the thread just to have fun (you know how eight graders can be [to understand this comment, you have to tiptoe into SOCN and read the bar and grill thread]) never imaging it would turn into something more. Sheldon was the first one (that I know of) to start this two years ago when he started a thread saying he was taking applications from those who wished to be his date for the first annual TRF prom. That's how this all started. I think we do need to set a date, maybe that day we can post in a seperate thread, posting pictures and updates from the prom?
  9. Dude, I am the KING of mix tapes. All timed out and everything, so there's no dead space. http://i569.photobucket.com/albums/ss137/Slayerplayer99/cornholio1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v318/1001001/STFU/step-off-movie_zps95d9285c.jpeg Looks like 73 is making the mix tape! I gots an idea.....we will do an 80s power hour before, using Duvel. You create the power hour mix, that means sixty 80s songs. Can you dig it? 60??? Do you know what a power hour is or how a power our mix works? The f**k do you think? 1 min clips of songs - every minute, equal 1 shot of beer. When the song switches, take a shot

Starlings are the Justin Beiber of birds. They are the variety that make up "parking lot birds." They live off mcdonalds french fries, screeching at people and shitting all over cars. Worst birds ever http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/06/Toulouse_-_Sturnus_vulgaris_-_2012-02-26_-_2.jpg

Survival of the fittest! :P Starlings are the worst, they are like mini crows. They carry a lot of disease, my dog used to have pups and they would eat the food and get em sick. My dad used to pay me a quarter for everyone I could pop with my Red Ryder bb gun. I have notches all up and down the stock :)

In about February, the first birds that get real active are the robins. I really dont like them very much, they are just boring IMO....however, in February, the robins are really fat, like some are the size of a small chicken. I have a goal to get a good picture of one, will try and post it

Crows are cool birds. My favorite birds around here are the cardinals. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vWvZKX5pgN4/UTAkQU7SDTI/AAAAAAAAK7Y/tLo7Pspl6fE/s1600/male-cardinal.jpg http://www.birdsandblooms.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/birding_basics_northern_cardinals.jpg Cool!! My favorite bird all though they are not present up here. Its funny, the cardinal is the state bird of just about every state in the midwest. When I was up there, I think I might have seen a couple. Now they are in my backyard every day. I actually think the females are really pretty http://jimburnsphotos.com/media/Northern-Cardinal-female.jpg You probably saw a different bird, If for some odd/rare reason you did it would be due to them migrating and getting lost. Oh I meant when I was in midwest, not alaska!

My mom and dad used to live in Alaska, my dad was telliing me about the town, Chicken, AK. There are a bunch of ptarmigans there (state bird), but nobody knew how to spell it, so they named the town Chicken.
