I like what you wrote. Me too. I agree with most of it however I do like Caravan. Wish Them Well might've been decent if they had left the echoing "wish them well" high parts out of the chorus. That just ruins it for me.

I love this picture. It would look very nice framed and on my wall. If I were single, I would do it. I'd have a Geddy wall plastered with Geddy pics. My bedroom is full of Rush posters and framed LP's. Maybe I'll print this one out and put it over my bed. :) Or make a blanket out of it. :P I'd rather have the real thing. I'm sure you would. I'm still baffled why Goobs bailed. The 80 page thread we had which started as a poll as to what his 30000th post would be was the cause. Some folks enjoy attention. Some do not. Goobs doesn't and didn't appreciate the thread. My apologies once again, Goobs. Just curious but why does he keep getting mentioned? From what I remember, he never had much of anything intelligent to add as a poster. Is it the silly name? That seals it. I am never leaving the forum.... I was just curious. I just remember him popping up and being negative. If that's what people are remembered for then that's sad. He actually contributed a lot to the board. He was just sometimes prone to acerbic comments, which caused some people to label him a troll. Personally, I enjoyed his posts. He did, and I had no idea he could dish stuff out but not take good natured humor. Again, he provided a target rich environment That explains alot from the brief interactions I had with him. We crossed over a few weeks when I arrived and he left.... I just remember being frustrated at how bull headed and angry he seemed to be. Reminds me a lot of someone else here with the initials of SL.

I would go see him but I doubt he would do the solo thing. I have a feeling at this stage in the game he wouldn't tour without the other two.

It's in 4/4 time, which is the typical rock beat. (and very common) Rush tends to play in different time signatures a lot, so it sounds unusual when they play 4/4. And yes disco tends to be in 4/4 as well.

All this talk about his music is making me want to download some new stuff. I already have Pontiac, any suggestions for the next one to start with?

I am sorry, but the word "erotica" just sounds revolting coming from Rush. And that is sadly the best part of the song. Again, trying too hard to be what they're not. Women do like them, but it's because they don't pull that stuff. And now, thanks to songs like that, we know why. EDIT: Sorry, too harsh? I'm not sure exactly what you mean. The song is not really a sexual song, so what kind of stuff are you referring to?
