  2. QUOTE (Enemy Within 77 @ Sep 23 2012, 11:14 AM) QUOTE (bathory @ Sep 23 2012, 10:26 AM) someday, man, someday but yeah anyway vitus was so amazing, and they really are nice as hell, first band i've seen that actually wanted to talk to its fans Yeah, Like I posted before Wino was playing less than an hour away from me, then the show got cancelled. Was really looking forward to meeting the man, always heard he's one of the coolest down to earth guys around. Fingers crossed I'll get my chance one day. you will, man, if you've got a girl with you, you might even end up on the tour bus...don't bring your girlfriend though, he'll work his charms

  7. great metal band, anyone else a fan here? I saw em on tuesday, great f*ckin show and they're some of the nicest guys I ever met
  8. even though I disagree with dave's politics, I hope he makes a funny anti-obama remark, maybe adding some anti-obama lyrics to a song HELLO AMERICA, MEET THE REAL OBAMA IN HIS TERRORIST'S WAY OF LIFE or something to that effect
  9. QUOTE (Thunder Bay Rush @ Sep 13 2012, 09:00 PM) Close to the Edge is maybe the best progressive rock album ever... next to Hemispheres, of course. I used to listen to Yes often and have been to a few shows. But, the CONSTANT line up changes annoys the hell out of me. You never know who is in the band and who isn't from week to week. Oliver Wakeman? The new singer is very good, but he's not Jon Anderson. It's just not the same at all. My favourite line up is Anderson, Howe, Squire, Wakeman and Bruford. new singer's pretty good, good show in atlanta back in july
  10. voted jacob's ladder on accident but my real choice is xanadu

  16. QUOTE (Tommy Sawyer @ Sep 12 2012, 04:33 PM) QUOTE (bathory @ Sep 12 2012, 04:18 PM)sad thing is, love beach isn't even their worst album but yeah I won't be picking these up because I got all their old shit on vinyl anyway (except works, don't really need those) and I like the sound just fine http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ip23YJAxy0c/UCufYWvNmGI/AAAAAAAAAM8/ph6OtcUSHAY/s400/watch-out-we-got-a-badass-over-here-meme.png not sure how I implied I was a badass for owning emerson, lake & palmer albums...or are you still mad I made fun of homophobia?
  17. QUOTE (ILSnwdog @ Sep 12 2012, 03:18 PM) QUOTE (bathory @ Sep 12 2012, 03:15 PM) hey, i'm classy! i just had a "lapse of judgment" myself 3 or 4 times in the past You're classy? Well prove it. What kind of wine would you serve with sea bass and asparagus?
  18. cocteau twins certainly aren't "prog" in the 12-minute-songs-about-gandalf sense but you could probably make a case for them being "progressive" in some way great group but yeah I wouldn't call them prog
