  1. That is not even fun idiot! Neil dosent fell good about his family! I'm with Zumbi. Dude, that's not funny. Imagine if your daughter died and then your wife dies shortly after. Then someone says let's have the band you're in make mean jokes about your dead family for his amusement. Seriously, anyone who truly calls themselves a Rush fan would never have made that post.
  2. BLACKBIRD by Alter Bridge PAINT IT, BLACK by The Rolling Stones FADE TO BLACK/BLACKENED by Metallica THE BLACKEST CROW by Megadeth
  3. I don't know what you're talking about, and the DVD was really meant to capture the band and string ensemble with a few crowd shots, I don't think that the Kelly D thing is actually really important as compared to the sound on the iTunes mix. I can't hear some keys and strings at the best of times.
  4. October 1st, 2004. Last show of R30 tour. Anthem and Bastille Day in the R30 Overture and an abridged version of By-Tor in the second set. Also, October 1st, 1980, (coincidental, I think not) was the last full performance of Bastille Day. Also on the setlist, By-Tor, Beneath, Between, Behind, and Anthem. I don't think it was the last time for the FBN tracks, but was the end of CoS But that's just the R30 Overture. I want to hear an entire song from those classic albums. Not just little bits and pieces of it without the vocals. They just need to bring back their early classics like you said. October 1st, 1980: Bastille Day Last show of Signals warmup tour: Beneath, Between, Behind, By-Tor, In The End
  5. Fly By night saw it's last breath prior to VT tour on the Signals warmup tour, outside of Anthem being in the 'oldies medley' from the Rpll the Bones tour. Last FBN songs: Beneath, Between, Behind, By-Tor, In The End

  7. And a signed pic and some signed picks and a um, T-Shirt! Yeah, Yeah from the first tour. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2HBdRCroks With the signed stuff and a T-Shirt from the first tour, I think we would see the price at around....
  8. And also, how about BEFORE AND AFTER for the title, this track hasn't seen as much love as it should.
  9. Yeah, maybe not fully re-recorded. I don't think Geddy would be able to tour again if he had to sing everything again. Lerxst and the Professor may go ahead and re-record the solos and drum tracks if they wish, but Ged probably wouldn't tour again, and I really like Geddy, so not fully re-record the album would be my point here
  10. Dude, that's why I said do it as a separate disc. One's simply remastered original. Another is Neil drumming the last is any extras they may give us. I'm not being insulting to Rutsey, I'm saying I want to hear Neil play the songs in studio as he did on the first tour.
  11. Ok, here's a third from me. There can never be too many dream sets right? SET ONE: R4X Medley------Before and After intro, Best I Can, Under the Shadow, Something for Nothing, Cinderella Man La Villa Strangiato (from Strangiato theme, extended main riff) Jacob's Ladder Colour of Right Turn the Page Enemy Within Weapon Witch Hunt Freeze Limbo OR Leave That Thing Alone (Drum Solo #1) Virtuality OR Prime Mover Natural Science (pyro and smoke allows time for band to slip off stage, video screen shows a countdown to next set) SET TWO: Cygnus X-1 Hemispheres (Prelude, Armageddon, Cygnus, The Sphere) Chain Lightning Analog Kid Ghost of a Chance Spirit of Radio YYZ Headlong Flight (Sampled Strings and Drum Solo #2) Classical Solo (Xanadu intro, Buenas Noches, Mein Froinds!, To Sleep, Perchance to Dream, Trees intro and interlude)/ A Farewell To Kings Double Agent Middletown Dreams OR Emotion Detector Bravest Face OR Faithless OLD SCHOOL MEDLEY: Finding My Way, Take A Friend, In The Mood, Working Man, Anthem, Beneath Between Behind, By-Tor, In The End Tom Sawyer Fountain of Lamneth (tuned down, maybe even C#, think Black Sabbath's Master of Reality) Malignant Narcissism OR Where's My Thing (Drum Solo #3) Body Electric 2112 (Overture/Temples/Presentation/Oracle/Soliloquy/Finale)
  12. If this is going to be done, I would love for it to be a three disc thing. One is the original album with the new mix or remaster they're doing. Second is the album, but with an entirely new drum track with Neil playing the songs, and the third is whatever bonus tracks they want to throw on there. Anyone with me?
  13. Has it ever been said by anyone in Rush that anything was recorded but kept off of ATWAS?
  14. That first show sounds horrible but as a diehard Rush fan I can't bring myself to delete it from my computer. It's not great for sure, but I've heard much worse. I once recorded over a 1984 New Haven Connecticut show that was loud, distorted and bass heavy to the point where you could barely hear vocals and the rest of the instruments. That's the only show I've ever dumped. One of the last with Roth?!? ???
  15. He did veto it, but Alex thanked him afterwards because he didn't want to add it either. Really? When?
  16. Now that is a cool setlist. And I'm thinking that with Chain Lightning, to do the solo, they could probably just sample it. They're flying in the guitars and vocals anyway, how about doing it when they need to. For a B set, I have three different switches for you. MalNar/Limbo New World Man/Digital Man Between Sun & Moon/Animate/Stick it Out
  17. Plus "that's nice" from Chain Lightning
  18. I just found Live at Agora Ballroom on iTunes. I was surprised to find this on iTunes, who don't have any album pre-Presto for individual purchase, you'd have to buy the complete Mercury years to get Rush-Hokd Your Fire as a full album (with exception of 2112, thanks to 2112.5). Anyway, has anyone else seen this? Is it worth the purchase of the whole album, or just Garden Road and Fancy Dancer? Track listing: Finding My Way Best I Can Need Some Love In The End Fancy Dancer In The Mood Bad Boy Here Again Working Man Drum Solo What You're Doing Garden Road Anthem Beneath, Between and Behind Fly By Night

  20. Sorry, I had the setlist from Kiel Audiotorium 1980 attached
  21. Sorry, I just don't really want Terry back right now. I'm not saying I never want to see him work with the boys again, but Nick Raskulinecz is doing a great job, why spoil his contributions. He's Terry for the new Millennium if you ask me, his contributions are as big as Terry's were, his skills are about the same as Terry's and I think he's done some great work. That's my 2c
