  1. So he's dropped some sticks...BFD! Who really cares anyway as long as he pounds the crap outta the drums?
  2. There's no need at all to remaster the raw emotion that went into this!!
  3. I'm an Accountant & Supply Chain Specialist. I crunch financial numbers on a daily basis!! Got your receipts? If not, there will be discrepancies!!....I think the after intermission video is a real blast IMO...even after seeing it 6 times this tour... it never got boring!
  4. What are we going to do while the guys take a well-deserved break to rest after being on the road for the majority of the past six years? I'm gonna be doing this... :boohoo: :boohoo: :boohoo: (Sorry, I'm not very patient....) And saving up my $$ so I can see them a lot more next time!
  5. Okay, first some background info: Been taking my 87 year old live-in mom in law to daily radiation treatments since June 23rd as she was diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer. (She's been living with us now for 22+ years since her horrible car accident which left her severely handicapped and disabled. Guess who has been taking care of her ever since! Lucky ME! -not really!) Anyway, For the past two nights, she's told me, "I don't want go to the treatments anymore!". Really?? First she wanted to go as she didn't want to die, now she wants to stop so the cancer will spread and certainly kill her! I'm like...whatever!!! Good riddins!! I'm so sick and tired of dealing with her BS! No more Joan taxi cab nor daily 2 hr work disruptions! Yes, I'd like to enjoy at least part of the rest of my life, thank you! Ugghhh!! WTF!!!!
  6. Boy, what is going on? First, James G., now Dennis? Loved everything he did! Heaven must be running low on angels! RIP Dennis! We miss you already!!
  7. Alex making fun of the kissing lovebirds in front of me at the Grand Rapids show during Tom Sawyer! Absolutely Priceless!! C'mon, I wasn't the only one at the show...where's someone here that was there to back me up on this? I was doing this... :LMAO: :LMAO:
  8. Why would that be sir? I guess it's not his day! Each leg for 2012 and 2013 has it's own shirts. Don't worry, I know what you're talking about with combined years on one shirt. Not with Rush, but on other bands tours...
  9. Hey Hakky! You should fare really well! I did VIP for three out of four shows this leg with quick checkouts and got 1st and 2nd rows Geddy, and a 3rd row Alex! VIP is the way to go if you can afford it!
  10. Hey PM, forget it man, it's NOT coming out...will need to replace the carpet, tiles, curtains and the paneling!! Been there thru that mess!! Replaced the whole shebang in my old rental house as the tenants had to have been walking smokestacks! It stank to the highest heaven!!
  11. Hey hobo! I'm glad to hear that you're not outraged like the rest of us, including me! What, RS couldn't find anyone else to put on the cover except this asshole? Give me a F'g break! We need to kill this scumbag real nice slow and tear his limbs off one by one so he can experience what horror his victims did! Then we get to drag his lazy ass behind a truck in Boston! I know some people would pay good $$ to see this event with all funds going to the victims! What'cha think?? (No, I'm NOT nuts, not yet anyway...just suffering from a bad case of PCD! (post concert depression) LOL!!)....
  12. Yep, that's what I was thinking....yikes!!
  13. :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :givebeer: :hail: Humm..begging for more beer Ducky? Geez, haven't you had enough by now??...(Okay, I really know better than to ask you that!) :laughing guy: :laughing guy:
  14. It's Duckman's Anniversary!! Well, congratulations and make sure you have plenty of these...... :martini: :digi: :macallan: !!! (Is that enough??) Let me know if you need a dd....
  15. VIP is the only way to go IMO...Here's what I got this leg via the VIP route: Hershey - Front row Geddy, Chicago (Tinley Park) - Second row Geddy, Grand Rapids - Third row Alex. Was just awesome to be that close! Can't even think of being back 14 rows again, which I had at United Center first leg. Yep, I've become very spoiled!!
  16. Right on the $$..Way to go!! :ebert: :ebert: I knew they wouldn't go far and want to help out aid-wise in some fashion!!
  17. Oh, I agree......it's definitely risky to get involved at any level. It could backfire for everyone. Still, it if were a mugging or fist fight between strangers, one doesn't hesitate as much to call the police. I'm just not sure that domestic violence should be ignored as much as it is. It's not always a matter of "Why doesn't she just leave?" Victims of domestic abuse (especially women), often don't have any means of escape. No family or friends to offer them shelter, no financial means of escape, and the continuous threats and intimidation keep many women from leaving. Many victims suffer from classic "Stockholm syndrome", where they become so dependent on their abusers that they become emotionally attached to them. They sometimes even defend their abusers against criticism and prosecution. The woman in Hobo's story shows strong signs of being in a dysfunctional state of dependence. She may never find the courage to leave the loser...... :( Those women are trapped in this belief that they are only as good as their abusers tell them they are. Meaningless apologies and kisses to your boo boos after an incident can fool you into forgiving him. It is definitely not easy. Good thing I DIDN'T witness this: I would have went postal on this punk asshole! Maybe I should be scared of these kinds of situations, but due to my rough upbringing, I'm not afraid of people like this; I've been known to get in someone's face and get involved in situations where others just "turn and run". Calling the police only goes so far; perhaps the woman will someday realize that this scumbag is a real piece of shit! It takes only one person to start the change...
  18. ( There's new Saga Stuff? Geez, I missed it...  (Been rather busy lately running mom to her daily radiation treatments...) :(
  19. That's the unofficial rumor that I've heard, but who knows...there's no way the show can be held there at this point...way too much damage to repair in a short period of time before the show..
  20. Exactly - that's what I want to know. I'm not interested in the contents of the tub, just the tub itself. How much? Do you have any photos of the tub that you can post? Goobs, all I gotta say is... :LMAO: :LMAO:
  21. Is that what was going on? Haha I was in the 5th row at that point and I saw Alex kinda bantering with some people in the front row and he threw them a pick, but I didn't know what exactly they were doing Yep, they were pretty surprised to look up after their romantic moment and see Alex staring them down and start mocking them, making kissy faces, hugs, etc.. in typical Alex fashion. The sustained opening chords to TS gave him plenty of time to have fun with it!!! Okay, it's my turn to rant about non-musical show aspects of the GR show I witnessed firsthand!! Actually, the two lovebirds in question were right in front of me in the 2nd row. WTF!! They were sitting for a good part of the of the show, kissing and making out for most of the show. When he went to get drinks, she just sat and was texting on her phone! You could clearly tell she was really bored and uninterested in any of the music. Why the hell did he drag her there in the first place with 2nd row tix? Of course, when they stood up when the favorites were played, they and their male friend blocked my great view of Alex and I was surely pissed! They needed to find a room real bad; she surely didn't pay $$$ for her tix...(other payment arrangements were surely in place). Alex was watching them, mocking them and I was laughing my ass off! I gave him the :boo hiss: sign and he just grinned. Alex twice threw picks at me, as I was rocking out, but they whizzed right by me as I was steaming angry at that point!! In addition to the lovebirds in front of me, some half drunk asshole decided to squeeze himself in between me and the guy standing next to me during intermission. He was screaming and clapping like a madman! He kept thanking Rush...really man, it that necessary??? WTF???? I tolerated it solely because I had a great seat/view in 3rd row and didn't want to start a fight with the moron and get thrown out myself! Never again...assholes beware!! :rage: You get way too pissed at things you can't control. Your bad experience was almost entirely your fault. But the drunk interloper is inexcusable. Why didn't you call security. No ticket, no seat. Don't worry, next time I will without hesitation!!
  22. Hey Hobo! Glad to hear that :rush: knocked your socks off!! What a show! Now the "no more shows" depression starts in for me! LOL!! Had a 4 show run so I can't complain about that!
  23. Sorry this was kind of a hit-and-run post... my boyfriend walked in just as I was starting to make this post, so I quickly linked the photo and hit 'reply' and went to a different part of the forum that doesn't involve members of Rush puckering up! Anyway, I thought you Alex Angels might be interested in seeing the great guitarist in a romantic pose! ;) (And a bonus Geddy, too!) Damn! I'm gonna change my name to Stanley! LOL!!!
  24. He is a priest, a Priest of Syrinx! :haz: :guitar: A Priest of the Temples of Syrinx. Get it right! Have you assumed control? Control is a very variable situation...
