    Alien Shore

I never noticed the strange, muffled vocals in Alien Shore from about 3:40-4:00 before. Anyone have any idea what's being said? Pretty sure I'm hearing this and it's not just me being high

  4. Who the hell sits at a rock concert? It's your own damn fault if you want to sit down, regardless of the section you're in. Pretty sure it's expected that everyone stands during the show.

At 6 flags, if the wait is over an hour, we skip it.... especially since having season passes means we can do it next time. I'm "local" enough to Cedar Point that I know when the slow days are and when it's real busy, so I'm usually there when the lines are no more than 30 min. It's nice That's awesome. We want to visit Cedar Point some day, but have heard the lines are very long on the weekends.... Seems like Tues and Weds are the days to go - huh? Seems like the best days for Six Flags are Tues or Wed... and if you get an overcast day with a slight chance of rain... holy crap, almost no lines. We went there last year on a Tues, and it was about 65, with rain predicted, I think the longest we waited in any line was 10 minutes. Best part - it never rained! Really, the best times to go are during the week when school is still in session. So now through the first week of June, or at the end of August. Halloweekends are fun too if you go on a Thursday or Friday. I'll even check the weather sometimes, and like you said, if it's somewhat chilly and overcast it's slow too.
  6. QUOTE (enginedriver @ May 1 2012, 10:02 AM) I just joined the forum and saw this topic. It reminded me of my 2112 siting. I really can't believe this happened to me in 2010, but it did and it made my day. I am commercial airline pilot. The first officer (co-pilot) was getting our clearance for the flight at the gate which includes the squawk code (the code which helps identify a flight on the air traffic controllers screen). I hear the controller give the first officer a code of "2112" for our flight. There are 4096 possible codes we could have gotten and we got "2112". The next thing I tell you I don't expect you to believe. Our flight destination was YYZ!!!!. My mouth dropped when I heard we got 2112 as our code. 2 months later, I was at cruise altitude at 32,000 feet going somewhere else. Occasionally the air traffic controller will change the code we are to "squawk" or enter into the transponder. During this flight the controller says, "....change squawk code to 2112". I then knew I was meant to get the license plate I was considering. I know have YYZ 2112 on my plate, although because of license plate format rules, it reads YYZ 2II2 (i's instead of ones). That's awesome! 2112 squawk code AND heading to YYZ! I bet you enjoyed that flight
  7. QUOTE (Gedneil Alpeart @ May 14 2012, 06:35 PM) Any fans of High Water? I just LOVE that tune! Yes! High Water is so underrated, at least I've noticed on this forum. But then again, nobody really likes to admit enjoying HYF anyways
  8. QUOTE (Gilbertk @ May 14 2012, 06:06 PM) They will use the Time Machine to freeze the moment a little bit longer. Just enough to play their entire discography at every show.

  13. QUOTE (FountainOfSyrinx @ May 14 2012, 03:14 PM) Halo Effect. One called it an instant Rush classic, another has called it an odd acoustic-type pop song.. interested in hearing it. As well as the ENTIRE ALBUM. This. Of course I wanna hear all of them, but I mostly wanna hear what they're calling an "instant classic." We'll have to be the judge of that
