  1. I feel bad for the guy. He must be a big fan to go up there a give it a shot.
  2. It's in my top 5 Rush albums easily. The whole story (18:05) of it and the music is top notch. Plus "The Tree's" has all been a favorite of mine.
  3. QUOTE (greyfriar @ Feb 2 2012, 09:58 AM) <--- since 1986 Nice....................
  4. Here's a close up before I wrap it up for the night. The lighting in the room is a little glaring. Happy 2112 everyone. http://i.imgur.com/GhL3Q.jpg

    The New Guy

I'm also a new guy here. My name is Mike been a fan since high school back in the 80's. My first concert was Signals and been hooked ever since. I look forward to reading and keeping the spirit of Rush alive with all of you.
  7. I voted for working man. It's the oldest classic and one of my favorites.
  8. QUOTE (The Killer Rabbit @ Jan 29 2012, 12:54 PM) Straight males should not get the "Yes I suck Hat" Agreed. I do like the number's on the pricing.
  9. QUOTE (Silas Lang @ Jan 29 2012, 02:11 AM) QUOTE (Bastille Dave @ Jan 27 2012, 06:57 PM) My vote would be RTB. It seems like it made the least impact in the evolution of Rush. It did have a significant impact. On the RTB tour, the band felt that the songs from the album sounded heavier and more aggressive live than on the record which influenced their thinking when it came to the production and sound of Counterparts. Agreed. The first track I listen to on CP was Stick it out. That song IMHO had the word heavy all over it. It's one of my fav's. I like the direction the band was going at this point.

    The New Guy

Hemisheres in my personal opinion was ahead of its time. I listen to it a lot on long car rides or sitting in traffic. It's a great concept album just like 2112. I never get tired of listening to them both.
  11. After Grace Under Preasure and Power Windows I started to fade a little with the albums that followed. Things also got complicated for me on a person level, so I relied on the past. I really enjoyed Feedback, R30, and Snakes & Arrows after that.
  12. My tattoo guy says maybe she ok it because she was looking at it through a mirror. http://i.imgur.com/L7hnM.jpg Besides it being reversed I like the way it came out.
  13. So sad to hear, may he rest in peace.

    jaws.

One of the greatest movies of the 70's. I seen it on the big screen when I was 10. Scared the hell out of me. Now that I'm older I can appreciate a little different. Example " Here's to swimming with bowed legged women "
  15. "And the trees are all kept equal by hatched, axe. and saw"
  16. Pluged in the Ipod on the way home and starting scrolling and played "Stick it out" It still in my head as I type.
  17. I'm also a fan of the early Rush albums. 2112 and Hemispheres had such an influence on me back then. Everyday after school I would put on an album.
  18. I remember a girl I dated back then always commenting on his glutes. LOL
  19. Wish I could post it also. The old copy and paste seems not to work in this application. I will have to investigate it a little more.
  20. I did save the picture but not sure how to post it up. I was pondering getting one and looking for ideas and just came across it. I always liked the whole " Man against the masses"
  21. Hi I'm new to the forum but been a big fan since I was a teen when I bought the album 2112. Been hooked ever since then. I recently seen on the internet of a reverse starman tattoo on the shoulder of a women. I never seen an image like this. What are your views and what are the differences between the two of them. The only difference was his right and left hand and he's facing the opposite direction.
