  1. QUOTE (jwoods89 @ Jul 30 2012, 01:44 AM) I have also heard the growling will not be back. Thoughts? Good riddence
  2. I dig it as long as there's no growling. I love everything else. Prog, Power, NWOBHM, Doom, Sludge, ect.

QUOTE (JohnnyBlaze @ Jul 29 2012, 11:43 PM) QUOTE (Union 5-3992 @ Jul 30 2012, 12:59 AM) http://thebroadeners.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Mystic_River.jpg I'm a sucker for almost all of Clint's movies Everyone in that film is just awesome (especially Penn). Hell, I bet the key grip and caterer were also awesome. You should check out the dvd commentary with Robbins & Bacon. Some interesting tidbits in there. I'll definitely check it out

  5. I'll label it as one of my top 100 best albums ever, not labeled in a particular order.
  6. QUOTE (Babycat @ Jul 25 2012, 07:40 AM) QUOTE (Union 5-3992 @ Jul 23 2012, 11:56 PM) I still watch Spongebob, Invader Zim, Looney Toons, Tom & Jerry, & Courage the Cowardly Dog. I simply watch cartoons and My Little Pony has proven itself to be just as entertaining. I watch Spongebob Squarepants. I remember the debut. 13 years ago I believe. I was in kindergarten.
  7. QUOTE (Hatchetaxe&saw @ Jul 25 2012, 06:32 AM) I was going to change mine to Treeslayer, but then I thought some tree hugging hippie would try and beat the shit out of me with a bat made of dried lentils, so I thought better of it. I like yours the way it is.

  9. QUOTE (deathlikesilence @ Jul 25 2012, 01:02 PM) some badass bands being reported here - don't just tell who you saw, describe the whole experience! I'll give you guys a much better laydown later. It'll be fun to describe.

Why? These things are funny, they aren't hurting anyone? You're not a midget are you? Come on iLuvGeddy05, It's much better to laugh than to cry! I'll take this over the numerous negative Rush Threads here any day. They are creative and humours. At least I think so. I say give us more Yukon Blade Grinder Reports. Since we're not getting anything out of the RUSH camp on the set list and probably won't until opening night just like on The Time Machine Tour. They are funny the first one or two times, yes. But it gets old really fast. I don't come on here nearly as much as "back in the day" (things like this are probably why), so when I do, I want to get the most bang for my (imaginative) buck. Not every single thread is going to be serious and true, I realize, but if I am looking for information on tours, songs, anything NEW, I don't care to click on and through dozens of fake threads to find what is real. Waste of my time. Thank you...I agree completely. Agreed
  11. QUOTE (iluvgeddy05 @ Jul 25 2012, 12:55 PM) can we stop these now? Yes please. Or at least warn us. I think this is as bad as the "Clockwork ANGLES News!". I'm tired of his trolling.
  12. Crosby, Stills, & Nash/Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers on August 28, 2010. TP&H were supporting their new album, Mojo. Played a couple great tracks from it and it was quite entertaining. They brought some new life to "Don't Come Around Here No More" live. It sounded so much more alive.
  13. QUOTE (deathlikesilence @ Jul 24 2012, 10:45 PM) nah, it just means you're new here welcome to the rush forum Welcome to you too.
  14. QUOTE (theredtamasrule @ Jul 24 2012, 08:06 PM) QUOTE (thesweetscience @ Jul 24 2012, 09:51 AM) QUOTE (Presto-digitation @ Jul 24 2012, 08:19 AM) QUOTE (ReRushed @ Jul 23 2012, 08:52 PM) By the way, "Madrigal" was a fantastic episode. It's amazing how a family can influence what you do. Mike is a badass's badass. Agree. Best one yet of the new season! Mike is awesome. ** SPOILER TALK** LOVE that Hank knows. That encrypted comment is bullshit. I love that when the captain is telling that story of having Fring over for the BBQ dinner and he says that, basically, "....he was right there, but was someone else the entire time" (paraphrasing) Hank can't even look up. The look on his face as the captain is saying that, too. Classic. Hank looked at that laptop and saw Walt in the lab...and he's just trying to figure out what to do with it all. For one, it's family. Secondly it's got to have some blow back on him or at least that has to be a big fear....that he'd be accused of covering up for his family, etc. Hank has a lot on his mind right now. Really dug Mike and Hank having their first face-to-face too. It's great to have those two actors going at it finally. SPOILERS!!!!! I don't know that the laptop encryption things is bullshit but you could definitely see the gears spinning in Hank's head as his boss was talking about Fring. I don't think he knows about Walt yet but he is on the way to figuring it out. The scene with Hank and Mike was classic!! I'm not so sure Hank knows about Walt. I think since we know the whole story, we're reading a lot into Hank's reactions to his boss talking about Fring. Hank doesn't know yet...but he will know soon. Unless they have some kind of flashback, I don't see Hank knowing. They wouldn't pull some sort of twist either. They like us to figure things out too.
  15. QUOTE (Good, bad, andrush @ Jul 23 2012, 11:04 PM) Either I am not very critical of what I like, or I'm a fanboy, because anything with the Steven Wilson name for me assures me it is high-quality, so be it Porcupine Tree or SW solo, I'm glad we're getting something from one of the coolest and laid-back dudes in the music scene right now. This guy is just a cool dude who happens to make adventurous and beautiful music that I really love. That said, it'd suck to see PT break up but I highly doubt they did. This is basically my view of him. He can go to PT again, make another solo album, I don't mind either.
  16. I have an odd feeling that Walter may end up killing Skylar. He cares much more about himself now than he did at the beginning of the series. He seems to endanger his family a lot more now than when he started. His slow evolution into wickedness doesn't seem like it will hold him back. But Skylar has to do something like try to go to the police.
  17. QUOTE (treeduck @ Jul 23 2012, 07:24 PM) QUOTE (Union 5-3992 @ Jul 23 2012, 05:53 PM) Even though The Avengers is a big ol' cash grab, I gotta say it's still being done very well. Every one of these films is a "big ol cash grab" otherwise they'd be doing it for free, or peanuts at least... You're right, but I'm surprised that they've milked the shit out of it yet are still making decent movies. 6 movies now and they're still going strong.

  20. QUOTE (metaldad @ Jul 23 2012, 01:34 PM) QUOTE (Union 5-3992 @ Jul 23 2012, 12:22 PM) Oh boo f***ing hoo. If you guys are that upset about the strings, don't go. I'm going to enjoy the show because I don't care what they do. Maybe they will do all of Roll The Bones, see how much fun that will be This is the CLOCKWORK ANGELS TOUR, not the Roll the Bones tour. And even if they did decide to play the whole album, I wouldn't care, they could play Test For Echo for all they care. They can do whatever they want. If I deem that it isn't worth my money, I just won't go. But I won't criticize them for doing what they want.
