im gonna try to avoid it as best i can. that way the first time i listen to it i can go to the studio at school and listen over the monitors in there. gonna be damn hard to resist.

im gonna guess because of the "Cut...Cut.." part is why they haven't played it live. i think they could figure something out in order for it to work these days. Counterparts rocks.

i have had this disc in my car stereo for over a month and i really can't say that there's any that i don't like. Malignant Narcissism and Far Cry kick ass, and Faithless, Way the Wind Blows, and Armour and Sword all grew on me when i listened to it over again. before the Vancouver show i never really knew Faithless, Marathon, or Presto but now all three are among my favourites.

ah.... never mind, finally got mine today!

I also love this album, i wish it was heavier in production though. maybe we'll get a remaster that'll sound thicker like Counterparts? (or maybe one exists?) that being said, i also love Counterparts.

i think im gonna wait for an official pre-order. do you guys think that there will be some official pre-order bundle? this is also my first real Rush album-release experience. i became a fan shortly after the snakes and arrows tour went through Regina, SK.

im gonna go against the grain so far and say Cygnus X-1 > Book II: Hemispheres. i find Hemispheres to drag on for far too long without switching up the music enough. by the end of the prologue, we've already heard 80% of the music in the whole song, but it keeps going for another ten minutes before something different happens. also, how can you complain about the intro to Cygnus when Xanadu has just as long of an intro? maybe im the crazy one.

if i saw neil at a bar, or gas station somewhere out of the blue i really wouldn't know what to do. i'd feel bad if i went up to him and gave him a casual "hello, i like your work. have a great day" and he felt like i was intruding on him in someway. however, on the flip side, i'd feel just as bad if i saw him somewhere and DIDN'T say "hello". it's a double edged sword.

Xanadu w/ double necks and robes i don't really consider jacobs ladder an "epic" per say, but it is quite masterful. i want to see both.

it might not be a "fun" song to play live, though i think it may fit in with the futurist/apocalyptic theme Clockwork Angels might be taking. The Enemy Within would be really fun, upbeat song to see live again. either one would be awesome, i love them equally.

if i wasn't a poor student but rather a millionaire, i'd buy it, restore it and reopen it. alas, only in a perfect world... someone should save it..

add Red Sector A to that list and i think it'd be awesome if they did orchestral accompaniments, but not a full tour. a few shows and a DVD/Bluray and thats it. like metallica did... but better.

is there any specific information you need to include in the email other than your mailing address, ie. "proof of purchase something"?
