  1. Lived near Akron my whole life, and have seen many shows, at both Blossom and the old Richfield Coliseum, and I am pretty sure that was the one only time that a band played at both venues the same weekend. Me and three of my friends went to both shows and had second row for the Blossom show. I have seen Rush pretty much every tour that has come through Cleveland since Hold Your Fire and this one was my favorite of all them all, seeing Scars live that close to Neils drumset was the highlight for me. Check out the setlist Force Ten Freewill Distant Early Warning Time Stand Still Subdivisions Marathon Red Barchetta Superconductor Show Don't Tell The Pass Closer to the Heart Manhattan Project Xanadu YYZ Drum Solo Scars War Paint Mission Tom Sawyer Encore: The Spirit of Radio 2112 Part I: Overture La Villa Strangiato In the Mood Wipe Out (The Surfaris cover)
  2. Tried a new link, should work now should load without a membership, if it doesn't load right away just hit refresh
  3. SUCCESS!!! Had this waiting in the mailbox, could not be happier, It is so awesome the boys take the time to do this for the fans. Can't wait to get it framed and hang it. I sent it last week to the Cinci show, never thought I would get it back so fast! http://s1317.photobucket.com/user/aviateur55/media/photob_zps10b281b9.jpg.html?src=pb
  4. Curious on which venues on current leg of the tour that will forward items to the band? Please share your success stories. Thanks
  5. Does anyone know if the Toyota Center Houston forwards the mail? Has anyone had prior luck with getting anything signed there? Thanks
  6. Wow thats strange Blaze, mine was accepted by the Q and still a no show, it seems very hit or miss, some people get their items back right away, and others get it back a few weeks later, some signed some not, some never see it again
  7. Sent a poster tube,, with return address sticker and return postage, addressed to Rush/Liam Birt with delivery confirmation, was signed for the Tuesday before the show, so I know it was there. I would be ok with getting it back without signatures, but to send two posters and not receive anything back is a little frustrating. Great pic by the way CE24, I have been trying for years now to get signatures, you should feel blessed
  8. Pretty bummed, looks like skunked again, I sent a vintage poster last tour, and to Cleveland over two weeks and never received anything back either time, it was hard each time to find a poster let alone two, and with the money spent on poster tubes and postage, I would have been better off buying the autographs elsewhere, oh well at least I tried. Anybody get anything back from Cleveland?
  9. Little Red, Awesome! Thanks for sharing
  10. Little Red, Thanks for the reply and your well wishes, beginning to think I am unlucky, sent same poster last tour and never received anything back, but there still is a little hope. Would love to see a pic of your album if you get a chance. Take Care
  11. Little Red, what venue did you send your item to? I sent a poster to Cleveland, just checked mail, nothing today, has been a week and two days now. Still hoping

  13. I approached the tech alone, my seat was right above where he had his work station, before the Cleveland show that they taped last spring. Politely asked for a pick, his reply was a sharp no, if I give you one I have to give everyone else one, I replied, nobody else is around or would even notice, he said no I can't.
  14. I personally, am not upset, put off, or pissed, I guess I was more disappointed than perturbed after reading that blog. I do not feel anyone I admire owes me anything, especially the guys from Rush. I actually do not have a problem with the way Neil chooses to live his life at this point in his career. I honestly just wanted to hear other peoples opinions on some of the circumstances that are well known to Rush community, It was not my intention to judge anyone, either by their actions, or opinions. I was just curious what other people thought about the blog, nothing more.
  15. How about what Tim Commerford from Rage Against the Machine has to say in Beyond the Lighted Stage, not a fan gushing over him, just one of his peers trying to compliment him in a controlled environment, sounds like it was pretty awkward, and he would not even acknowledge him, so they ushered him out. And in my humble opinion at a show is exactly where they should expect to come in contact with a fan, just like any sports figure, this is what they get paid to do, and paid very well. From what I have read, Neil acts like it is his private personal sanctuary, and insulates himself from any human contact, he will not participate in any of the meet and greets, where people are screened and the band has complete control, if he would just put a little effort in, it would really go a long way with the fans. If was to be known that at a show and at a show only, he would interact just a little, I am sure people would complete leave him alone every where else, and respect his privacy.
