  1. Saw the opening show of the Reunion Tour in Edinburgh, Scotland - they were fantastic live! Must check out this album, thanks.

  5. QUOTE (Pars123 @ Jul 28 2011, 07:14 PM) No need to fear a new tour is about 8 months away..... Says who??? - I really don't believe in a CA Tour until the dates are announced on Rush.com.
  6. I think we get single songs from the 70's as bonus. So we all have to wait for full shows till they didn't play live any longer. There must be a lot of stuff in the archives!!!???
  7. QUOTE (MMCXII @ Aug 5 2011, 04:56 AM) I always thought of him as "UK's Eddie Van Halen" lol He's from Germany - just sayin'
  8. QUOTE (KenJennings @ Aug 3 2011, 02:43 AM) Rush kicked ass last year at the MN State Fair. I've only seen them three times, but it was easily the best performance I've seen from them. They sound better than ever, IMO. Was there too - man it was so awesome - loved it to be part of the birthday party!!! Cheers from Germany
  9. Chicago, Omaha, St.Paul - Dublin, Rotterdam, Frankfurt 6 rides in the 'Time Machine', worth every penny and believe it or not I had a price every time!!!
  10. QUOTE (TullSkull @ Aug 2 2011, 01:15 PM) Test for Echo Test For Echo
  11. good list! + Chemistry The Weapon Countdown Bastille Day The Necromancer A Farewell To Kings Cygnus X-I Book I
  12. This upcoming DVD will have so much goodies: A kickin' trio still going strong, a stage setup with so much love for detail, funny intro and outro films, a setlist of songs most bands wish they'd written those songs, a classic album in its entirety, finally a USA crowd... so I don't give a shit if Geddy isn't able to hit every note that accurate. It's only Rock'n'Rush'n'Roll but I like it !!!
  13. U.F.O. with Schenker was great - love the 'Obsession' album. In the special thanks credits on 'Strangers In The Night' Rush is mentioned. Just sayin'.
  14. There is no 'best' Rush song - seriously, I can't pick just one. It depends on my mood.
  15. good to see (and hear) his guitar playing is much better now
  16. Tough but -I would say 'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway'
  17. ...they weren't born in Lotus-Land...
  18. Genesis with Gabriel is cooler than ice cream.
  19. QUOTE (Good @ bad, andrush,Jul 17 2011, 05:51 PM) I like most of the guys I have listened to from this list and I play sax myself. But I'm shocked by the lack of the brilliant David Jackson/Jaxon on this list. Nobody cuts through your mind and soul like that guy. Just listen to My Room, Man-Erg, or A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers. +1 David Jackson
  20. I'm a fan of the Byron era Heep - Love the 1973 Live album.
