QUOTE (J2112YYZ @ Sep 26 2011, 11:03 AM) QUOTE (Xanadude69 @ Sep 25 2011, 10:59 PM) Its sad really. I bought the new Foo Fighters album, and I wanted to go see them live on their current tour. But I can't see paying a $110+ for medium level seats. People who pay for albums are still stuck with ridiculous ticket prices.
I saw them last night and had seats in the lower bowl and they were only $47.50 each. Which is not bad at all for a popular arena rock band.
Whenever possible buy your tickets at the venue box office. What makes the price even worse is the rediculous service charges they add when you do it online. I've seen them range between $8-$12 dollars a ticket depending on the artist and that's where it really kills you. The venues still have a charge of like $2-$3 a ticket but it sure beats the online fees. I know people travel to shows so i'm aware the venue box office isn't always an option.
That's really the only thing I can think of right now to save money on concert tickets. They will always be high priced no matter what but if you can avoid those online fees at least it will be a little bit cheaper.
good advice ! thanks
