Speaking of high school, I was in 10th grade when Test For Echo came out and MTV played the video for Driven quite a bit. Never made their weekly top 20 countdown show though.

Got my new persription glasses at Walmart yesterday and found out that for the 1st time in 2 1/2 decades that I will fly round trip on an airplane. Seeing my sister and (by that time) my bro in law in Utah for Thanksgiving. Last time I went there with my mom, we took I-15 all the way to SLC for Xmas 99 and had some car trouble. Last time I was on a plane I was about 3 or 4 visiting my aunt in Berkley from John Wayne airport.

Can't complain about the Alice Eve (that babe from She's Out Of My League) eye candy either.

Saw Drive yesterday. Great, mindblowing soundtrack. Reminds me of those awesome atmospheric Tangerine Dream movie scores (Risky Business,Thief,Near Dark) of the 80s that I love so much. Oh, and the movie is awesome as well.

I only get the basic package of Time Warner and it sucks. Miss having more channels like VH1 Classic, IFC and Encore before I moved out of my mom's house. Oddly enough, she now has Showtime and HBO but no Encore since she switched from Dish to Time Warner but with more packages.

Comedy Central AMC VH1 - I don't mind their "_____ of all time/decade etc." shows. Everything else sucks. Fox Sports West (Angels baseball games) ESPN ESPN2 USA TBS MSNBC F/X

Saw the season premiere of Dexter and the 2nd episode of the new season of Community yesterday.

I actually thought the last 15 minutes were the best. The rest, save the usually entertaining Cage hamminess, was a bore.
