  1. I enjoyed quantum of Solace, and Skyfall I enjoyed a lot but it is a very unique and strange bond film. It feels like it's missing something, but without spoiling anything, this is the film where he gains everything...
  2. Bear with me, I know this goes in Turn the Pages, but... I have a short story up for sale on your kindle. It's the first edition, costs only 3.99, and I think it is worth your time. I don't have a problem with this being moved to Turn the Pages, but that sub forum unfortunately does not get the attention it deserves. So here I am, shamelessly Anyway, please enjoy my story if you choose to buy it you can read a little description on the website.
  3. Nice build-up episode, the governor is a sadistic insane psycho of course.
  4. That was very strange...but a very good film. I still have my mind blown so I can't talk too much about it, but it is worth watching.

QUOTE (noisorroCmrotS @ Oct 24 2012, 07:44 AM) QUOTE (ColdFireYYZ @ Oct 23 2012, 07:38 PM) Steven Wilson playing the Robert Fripp's Mellotron that was used on In The Court of the Crimson King. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=481...&type=1&theater It really is amazing how the prog gods are smiling on SW these days. Wonder if even he would imagine that. I'd love to be up there with them But that'll never happen
  6. QUOTE (Gompers @ Oct 24 2012, 12:41 PM) It's on Spotify now! I wish I could find a listing of who plays/sings on each song. Yeah, it is fricking amazing too. It's just as surreal as the original versions, just with a more modern twist. And of course, all the awesome musicians
  7. I did great on my midterms. I was one of 4 As in my over 100 people government class, and I got an absolute perfect score on my Brit Lit midterm! But gah I have so much other work to do it's ridiculous.
  8. Spoilers! Minor ones at least. Yay! Lori admitted she was a bad wife!
  9. QUOTE (PolarizeMe @ Oct 20 2012, 11:18 PM) QUOTE (ColdFireYYZ @ Oct 20 2012, 06:21 PM) Another video! Recording "The Holy Drinker" SW plays bass and Nick Beggs plays stick. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe...d&v=I2Intvuetk4 Sounds awesome! It's definitely too early to tell, but out of all the songs (minus Luminol), they've featured so far, this one's got potential to be my favorite off the forthcoming album. I wonder if Steven's gonna play bass on that song if they'll ever play it live. I'm going crazy for this already
  10. QUOTE (treeduck @ Oct 20 2012, 03:13 PM) My copy of The Parallax II: Future Sequence arrived today! Although I'm not keen on the over-sized digibook. The title makes me think of those Human Centipede films... I wonder if the Parallax EP is worth getting? Hey when listening to Colors does anyone else forget the lyrics when singing along and end ip singing: "I'm floating in the sea, hee hee hee hee hee..." or is that just me? It's not just you And that EP is worth getting. Listen to it before part 2.
  11. Reminded me of when Pain of Salvation raps, that was pretty decent. Not my cup of tea but not bad.

Well, you could take a cruise and see Steve Hackett and a few other Prog Monsters. http://cruisetotheedge.com/ That sounds like the most expensive thing ever UK & Steve Hackett are going to blow Yes off the stage (or should I say boat). I really would love to go... but I don't have anyone to go with... and it costs thousands of dollars... Also, I fixed GBR's post I dunno, I love being a progger an' all, but I don't think I could take being stuck on a floating prison with a shitload of them. I'd be willing to give it a go. Some of my best friends love Prog. Yes, I do have some best friends. Hey best friend!

  14. QUOTE (JohnnyBlaze @ Oct 16 2012, 06:20 AM) RUSHHEAD is the loudest guy on the planet that never sounds like he's screaming or even loud. P.S. Yo RUSHHEAD, the record shops in Japan are eagerly awaiting your arrival so that you can make them filthy rich. You'd be like a hardcore pervert with a fat wallet set loose in Patpong Bangkok

  16. QUOTE (ReRushed @ Oct 14 2012, 10:16 PM) I enjoyed the Season 3 premiere very much. Lots more zombie action and plenty of tension and twists and turns. It looks like Season 3 might be the television show I was hoping for since the beginning. Agreed. Really enjoyed it. Finally feels like they are moving forward.
  17. QUOTE (ColdFireYYZ @ Oct 12 2012, 09:51 PM) Just finished my first listen. I loved it but there's a lot to absorb. Yeah, I'm still going insane every time I listen I think Melting City is my favorite track. I love that flute
  18. QUOTE (tangy @ Oct 12 2012, 08:45 PM) right now bloom, track 9 with the surf boogie, metal beach boys vibe is killing me. if colors was btbams hemispheres then this disc may be btbams moving pictures...... I agree. And the Great Misdirect does have a very Permanent Waves vibe.
