I hadn't seen anything about this until today. Being made low budget apparently be a film company I've never heard of. From what I've read: -Movie is listed as part 1. Don't know how much of the novel it will cover -Apparently it will be set in 2017 as opposed to the '50s. -Angelina Jolie is starring as Dagney Taggart. Probably not a coincidence that it is being released April 15th. I love the book and am afraid that the movie will fall far short of my expectations.

I agree with you. Haven't seen any evidence that's it's been played since the MP warm-up tour. JL is definately near the top of songs I want to see live.

I love the Grateful Dead. Love their Sirius radio station. I think I have about 450 cd's of live Dead shows. My favorite year is 1969. I'll never get enough of listening to Dark Star >St. Stephen > The Eleven. 1973 and 1977 were fantastic years as well. The crispness of those '77 soundboards are the best live sound I've ever heard. One day Rush will be like the Dead and mix up their setlists as well as throwing some improvisation into their live shows.

Very cool. Tommy Shaw has the distinction (while opening for Rush) of being the first live rock and roll band I ever saw.

Every single band that has had a top-40 hit over the last 20 years. There's probably a few exceptions in there, but to me: popularity is generally inversely proportional to how good a band is.
