  1. We saw Heart a couple of years ago opening for Journey. Wilson still has it totally. Geddy sounded very good, with an odd bad note here and there @ Allentown last August, but all in all he was his usual kick-a__ self. Agreed about Ozzy. As much as I love his music, he's toast if he does more than 3 shows a month. RJD kept it up for a really long time until the end. He and Klaus Meine come to mind from that era of metal as guys with enormous range although Meine had surgeries after losing his voice completely for a couple of years...
  2. Try day of show. I am hearing more and more stories of people scoring tix that way.
  3. WHoah did I have my dates screwed up. It was the Garden on RTB and Nassau, not meadowlands but vinnie Moore opened. I remember being pissed as hell because Eric Johnson opened for them the week before. I was so mad. BUT then Primus jumped on board and all was ok.
  4. I don't think it was roll the bones. Probably counterparts or T4E Primus opened for them on RTB and both shows that I saw were sold out. They may not have even done the garden on RTB, gotta look it up. I saw them @ Nassau and I believe Meadowlands that tour....shows were about a week or so apart. digitalware, I'm on the north side. I do believe someone else here bought south as well though.
  5. No. Especially not for cold fire.....just no.
  6. Just thinking about this is exciting. The last time I saw them at The Garden, it was half empty. There is NOTHING like a sold out show.
  7. It's sold out. I have a friend who works there. He said best bet is to check back day of/day before once the true stage dimensions are set as they usually add a few rows here and there. They also get back any promotional seats that may have gone out to PR reps, sponsors and radio stations.
  8. Just a follow up on MSG, It is SOLD OUT. Only stub hub and brokers now my friends.
  9. If it was a 4 ticket limit, they will void the sale of the last 2 tickets.
  10. Good to see some people having luck with the presales. I wasn't sure if I wa even going to the second leg so I didn't bother. Last summer I got what the seating chart had us believing were 5th row on Alex's side when in actuality we were about 7 miles to the left of Alex. Same price as the top tier ticket though. For the last couple of tours though I've done ok @ presales. 3rd row on Geddy's side was the closest. At this stage in their careers and touring, Just be patient. There are always tickets to be had.
  11. Not sure how chicago does it, but MSG has a drop down menu that allows you to select seating for persons with disabilities. It is part of the ADA act. Now, one way or another you can probably file a complaint with the chicago area BBB regarding ignorance of the ADA act on some level, but if they provided you with seats in what they usually use as ADA seating you may be out of luck. Worth a shot though.
  12. It's about as ok as peeing on the floor instead of going to the urinal.
  13. I could do without 2112. It's been played in parts a lot and while it's a great album, the drop tuning does zero for it. Strange because I was so glad to hear Circumstances when they played it that the drop tuning didn't bother me at all. If they're gonna go into the vault, I'd love to hear somthing from Caress of Steel or maybe pull something "else" from
  14. "better" is a matter of opinion. If they were going to drag something out of the vault I'd hope for a bit from COS, AFTK, or Permanent Waves. A big fat "NO" imo to Mystic Rhythms. Total buzzkill. I can't really complain about setlists as I've heard 2 of my all time faves in the past couple of setlists in Presto and Entre Nous, but if I had a direct line I'd ask for Prime Mover, Grand Designs or Secret Touch. If I was goin' old school it'd be In The End.
  15. Amen to that. I hate the wait. Every so often I get tix from a broker in NY and they are fedexed next day or messengered to my job. The LN sid seems to drag their feet on the shipping end of it.
  16. TM and Live Nation are one and the same. They sort of merged. I forget which one bought the other, but the FTC tried to block the sale citing a monopoly. They forget how they allowed it to happen years ago when TM gobbled up Ticketron and Teletron. That spawned TeleCharge which only handles broadway tickets now.
  17. I got my TM tickets a week ago.....about 10 days after I ordered them.
  18. I will most assuredly be at the urinal for Jacob's Ladder. I don't get the uproar over this boring dud.
  19. Faithless for A Farewell to Kings Subdivisions for Kid Gloves 2112/Temples for Xanadu Working Man for In The Mood
  20. I totally hear you on the debate, but I think a lot of it is blowing smoke and a lot who say they won't drop the cash will do it anyway. Same with tickets. I was on the fence because the set will essentially be the same but in the end I bought a cheap seat and I'll be @ MSG. I'd be really surprised if people aren't buying the Cleveland DVD. MP live is hard to pass up. Plus, I would love to see this lighting setup from different angles.
  21. Is this even a question? If we're sitting here on a saturday in front of computers talking about this at all then I'd bet that about...oh...100% will buy it.
  22. Not necessarily. If they're closer to the middle it could very easily be some freebies that went back in. Maybe a credit card presale that ended as well. I hadn't checked any of the Canadian shows as far as the presales though so I don't know if they did any.
  23. Yeah, I know you're in. I got you the damned ticket Does this mean I have to sit next to you?
