  1. i am with you on number of gigs in england - i think there were too many on this tour - in my opinion they are still planning tours in the uk based on what they used to do back in the day when they were playing to 3000 seater venues.
  2. i've read through this all and i must say i'm with the original poster. this is a fan site - nothing more - nothing less - i simply don't believe the people who set this up did it with the intention of creating a forum for the argument of whether rush are a good band or not. i'm sick fed of people feeling a need to post negativity and vitriol on a variety of forums. if you don't like stuff musicians do - fine - don't go to the gigs - don't buy the records - here is a novel idea - instead of going to a forum for that band and bitching about that - why don't you go to the forum of something you do like and post something positive about them life is too short to listen to people moaning in my opinion d x
  3. fantastic shots - and make me want soooo many guitars

  7. yay top photos - i still can't stop grinning it was such an awesome night and while i envy you your front row seat - i must say the guys put on an absolutely awesome lighting show for those of us further back - a great example was marathon - which i have never been that big a fan of - but seeing that awesome lighting rig light up the crowd gave me goose bumps

  17. QUOTE (Jean Simmons @ Nov 23 2010, 06:43 PM)QUOTE (Rushchick10 @ Nov 23 2010, 03:51 PM) QUOTE (AJ71 @ Nov 23 2010, 03:42 PM) there would be plenty of people pleased if they weren't being raped financially that's something Rush could easily do something about and 'win' Rush has little to do with ticket prices, honestly. It's the venues, the promoters and management who crunch all the numbers and come up with a price to cover facility costs and tour costs and still make a profit. THIS IS THEIR JOB, PEOPLE! They are entitled to make some money. I like my job, but I'm not going to show up and do it for free anytime soon. Complete Bull. Rush sit down with Ray Danniels and say we need $x million to pay for our wine/cheese/golfing/motorbikes/nappies. RD goes to the promoters and says my boys want $X million make it so. The buck stops with Rush. in that case given you feel that way why the f'k are you on a rush fan forum? you obviously think they are money grabbing bastards who don't give a f'k about their fans? yes? personally if i felt that way i wouldn't waste my time folowing a band let alone posting on their fan forum! d
