It's so close between Cold Fire and Cut to The Chase ... I went with Cold Fire. LTTA was great on VT and TM tours, and I enjoy Stick it Out ("running back to cover your neeeck..." ) but it's time to bring in something else.

Everyday Glory would be awesome too :7up:

Only one track? Cut To The Chase, no question.

If given more room, then Animate, Nobody's Hero, and Cold Fire for this tour. Would get the most crowd reaction.

You mean moving to the bathrooms like the last time they played Stick it Out?

I'm guessing that the vote for "just shoot me" is LedRush...

Good guess.... :)

The second vote is mine. No idea who voted first for it, but I owe him a beer. If they play a song from CP in concert, we can get it while everyone else joins us in a rush to the concessions.

I have a strong feeling that they are going to revive Animate on the next tour... I remember reading somewhere that the boys said it was a favorite of theirs, and for them not to play a favorite song in 3 tours, it's a little overdue. So, I would expect it for the next tour.

However, personally Cut To The Chase & Cold Fire need to get played next tour too!!!

As for Stick it Out:

"And the rock must stand alone."

-Hand Over Fist

I dig Stick It Out a lot, but they just played it recently so it's Cut To The Chase for me.

Agreed. However, I picked LTTA.

What do you folks make of these lines in Animate:

A man should learn to gently dominate

A man should learn to rule his tender part

I'm asking in seriousness . . . how do you interpret these?

To me it means that a man cannot afford to show weakness, so he must keep the sensitive part of himself under wraps

Okay . . . so is Neil saying that's the way it is, or the way it should be? And who is being "dominated"? The man himself? Other people?

I think Neil is saying that's the way it is, but not the way it should be. The man is dominating himself

Hmm. It's occurred to me that I might have misquoted those lines: is it "should" or is it "must"? I think it's "must" actually.

Animate would be a great opening track.

But I won't need another beer or bathroom trip at that point? Couldn't they wait until song 5 or 6 to allow everyone to get their drinks?

Yeah, not the opener... or at all.
