Found a couple more pics of the room I wallpapered with music pics. Obviously I had a few oddballs thrown in.

 It was a lot of fun doing that. I just wish I had taken pictures of the whole room. I think at least half of it was Circus magazines.

I guess that pretty much dates my wallpaper job. That was 1976, right?

I love looking at your walls. Tons of pictures... The Who, Jeff Beck, Elton, BTO (I think). I wanna go with Troutman and party in this room.

:dweez: :hail: :D

If it were still there, you guys would be welcome to come. But the house was sold long ago. Oh well. To be young again. :)

I found the pics but they're obviously old and not in the best shape. At least maybe you can get the idea. :) This was one corner and the end of the room as I was in the process of doing it.

This is great !!!

Back in the 70's there was so much music coming out and at a rapid rate. I found it difficult to keep up with the new music, which was not a bad thing. I remember having record listening parties with my friends where we'd listen to the album start to finish, read the liner notes and scan the gatefold.

Creem and Circus magazines made you want to be a rock star.

Ahhhhh, memories.

Thanks for that !

Yeah,

The good old days! :codger: Those were great magazines. I can still remember going to the 7Eleven store and always looking for the latest copy. :D

I used to do the same thing. It was always a thrill when the new edition came out. I used to collect Guitar Player magazine too back when it was still decent.

Went to Robin Hoods Bay for the weekend and I got this at Old St. Stephens church :)

Nice,

How old is the place?

Since 1822. The interior is awesome and there isn't any restrictions so you can go basically anywhere. You can even play the organ :) . The history about it is here if you want to check it out:
