Where can we get the boot to this show?

The first set was better than the second. I am sure what recording we got has all the boogers. I think only a few songs were what I would consider dead on, but I'll have to listen to playback to be sure. We have it on mini-disc and need to transfer to CD.

You really don't want to hear it, if memory serves. Yyz was a disaster for me, as I was experiencing strangeness in my right hand, my "main noisy bastad" was locking up on me temporarily. It remedied shortly thereafter when I cracked the knuckle. This is probably too much information. Then after the Trees my voice started to lose stamina and I all but lost my upper register during Barchetta. I coersed the guys into NW Man so that I could get a vocal rest before attempting Limelight, which started ok but some high notes again were clipped as I was "singing." I am pretty hoarse today (then again I also played baseball today, so that didn't help much either.

I would give us a B-/C+ on performance. The atmosphere was interesting. It was like being in a fish bowl. I don't normally get that kind of feeling. It was more like a studio show than anything else I can think of. There were several rows of seats (mostly filled!) so many were sitting watching us, almost like a movie. People were very intent on listening and cheering at the ends of songs mostly, but also for cool transitions (Freewill out of the solo especially) and for some solos.

Yeah, I think you're being harsh on yourself.

I do the same with my art--I always think someone will return the piece when they realize what a piece of shit it is.

I would still like to hear your performance though. Jacobs Ladder (from your sig) sounded damn fine 1022.gif

Yeah, the venue was awesome. It was like an intimate studio show. Everyone was quiet during much of the tunes then uproarious cheers for cool transitions and solos. It was a bit like being in a fish bowl though. It was almost like the audience were watching a movie because there were several rows of seats (mostly filled!). Earthshine, Moonraker and Digital Man were in the first row right in front of me, and that's about as much as I could really see off stage without straining my eyes. I could see the back, but had to really squint.

Oh I also forgot we did the intro of AFTK before the Trees as an added bonus.

These guys rocked, just like they always do. Unfortunatley I missed the second set, but the first one was great. I got to hear my "namesake song" introduced something like "this is him", with Cyg pointing at me. The venue was really cool. It was a concert like setting, instead of a club like setting. Much more intimate with interaction between Cyg & the fans/friends. It was also an any age show, there were a few kids, teenagers & even a famliy or two. One little girl was dancing thru most of the first set.

Can't wait for the next show!!!

Ah, but one of ladies in attendance is a hair dresser and I do intend to make an appointment. When I said "I need a hair cut" she said "Yes you do!" She said it "would be worth" her exorbitant price.

Plus she's a singer, and kind of hot. wink.gif

But on the flip side there was a very cute (hot) young girl, maybe 16 or 17 who came up to me afterward and after telling me she enjoyed the show she enthusiastically remarked "I really like your hair... It's wild!"

Yes it is. If I were 20 years younger... (Yikes)

Ha, I remember that girl, and I might have been inclined to say something as well if I hadnt have noticed her boyfriend hanging out with her. Dammit, why is everyone in a relationship?

Click here for a very short video clip of Yyz as performed by Trilogy 6-4-2005.

Not the greatest quality but it works.

Cyg, I have some more mpg quality vids if you'd like them. I don't have web space, but I can burn them and send them to you. Let me know if you want them. I believe there are 5 clips, about 25 minutes total.
