2011 - 04/17 - Detroit, MI

Recommended Posts

I'm really looking forward to seeing all of you. I'm pretty sure we'll be in Mt. Pleasant for something on Saturday, then heading over Sunday morning. If the Saturday thing gets canceled, we'll be down on Saturday. We're probably staying at the Best Western Palace Inn, just down the street from the Palace.

So I've only seen 1 concert at the Palace even though its in my backyard and I had okay seats then but I have section 112 row E is that a good view?

You can buy seats anywhere in the Palace and you'll get a good view. I was there last weekend for Ozzy and despite being in the 200s, I was still satisfied with my seats.

Well, hubby and i are trying to go to this or the toledo show, but it's looking bleak. I recently lost my job, plus we owe almost $600 in taxes. It really sucks, and im quite depressed about it. If we can manage tix to this show, if my friend who works at the palace may be able to find us better seats. Waiting to see if she is indeed working. But still, buying tix is the problem.

So, everyone say a little prayer for us!!! Lol

This'll be a fun show, yeah this place looks huge! Meet-ups over on RushTour were tentatively for the parking lot (lulz which one!!?) but on facebook I've got a guy saying he'll be meeting up with folks at a "Crab shack" down the street. Guess I'll be seeing what to do at that point, this'll be show 3 of 4 for me that week.

Got my ticket last week, section B row 10.. right on the aisle though, I hate those, if people constantly going in and out for beer at least.

The only bad seats I've seen were designated "obstructed view". Other than that it's hard to find a bad seat at the palace....

Wow, so many Michigan Rush fans. The Palace is one of Rush's favorite venues. I'm sure that we won't disappoint. Neither will Rush. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/tongue.gif

The show was amazing. They were on, having fun and goofing around right from the start.

Saw lots of friends, so many. Cygnus GOB and his wonderful wife, rushgirl, JackRelax, Hemisteve, Booter and wife, Mel and husband, and lots of others from all over and met a few new ones too. Hopefully they come here to visit.

Today's a little slow, getting less than 4 hours sleep and back at work. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/wacko.gif

We will pay the price

But we will not count the cost
