Doesn't Chris Squire embody the more traditional idea of male attractiveness?  I mean, generally speaking, wouldn't more women (non-Rush fans included) find Chris more attractive than Ged?

I'm glad you asked this, because I was just going to ask Jaye if she has any more pictures of Squire.  I wanna make sure that I voted fairly.  Yeah.  unsure.gif

For goodness sake girl, get a grip. It's got to be Geddy by miles.

Chris has got old and flabby - and he also thinks he's still God's gift which makes him soooo unattractive.

Saw Yes at the Liverpool Pops a few years ago and while they were completely fabulous, Steve Howe looked like he'd just been dug up, Jon Anderson was wearing some kind of hideous pastel shell suit and Chris Squire was strutting as though there hundreds of drooling groupies in front of him.

And there were no groupies.

There was me and my husband (no idea how we got front row tickets on the day of the gig  wacko.gif ), several even older people and a very strange woman following the gig on sheet music. Truly bizarre.

Chris is hotter (well...he used to be), but I'd rather hang out with Geddy.  He seems like a nice person.  Plus, he's Geddy freakin' Lee. laugh.gif

First post!  Hi all.

Anyway, if you're going by musical talent that 's a really tough call.  Both are awesome bass players, imo.

Personality wise, gonna have to go with Geddy, he seems like a very pleasant down to earth kinda guy.  Chris on the other hand....I've heard lots of stories....gonna pass on that one.

When it comes to looks, I'd take Geddy any day of the week.  Chris, only if I could go back to the 70s...

I'm torn between Geddy and Chris in terms of fave bassist as well.

But hottest I'd have to say Geddy of course, although Chris is hot too. biggrin.gif

Who was "hotter" in the 70s?  Squire
Who was "hotter" in the 80s?  Toss-up
Who was "hotter" in the 90s-today?  Geddy

And I'm still a hetero male.   wink.gif

I'd say the same thing about who is the better bassist.  Squire was better in the 70s, things were kind of even in the 80s, and Geddy has been better since; Squire's talent is frozen in his earlier years.
