Are you the type that no one can touch your plate, too? Nah I just don't like, for instance, my mashed potatoes and corn mingling. Or something savory (aforementioned mashed taters) mixed with something sweet. Double Ask Chas. He and my dad enjoy torturing me by mixing stuff together. Peanut butter mmmmm Thanksgiving Day gives me food touching anxiety. I usually end up with about three plates just so I can try everything. And love peanut butter as I do, I still don't want it touching something else that would make it vile.

You need those plates with the different sections!! I'm the opposite - mix it all up I don't care - but don't take any.... My girls still won't learn. It drives me crazy and they all laugh at me as they're chewing the food from my plate.
neilpeart_gal
Don't worry, I stick to my guns on this one. I've considered writing a book about the 'rules' of non food touching. Of course everyone's rules are different. My one friend goes as far as to not eat casseroles. I'm not THAT weird.

Moonraker
QUOTE (Indica @ Jan 21 2005, 01:39 PM) I like the show from the 70's called "The land of the Lost" Chacha was a cool ape. I remember watching reruns of that. I used to think at the time (was a little kid) that those were the best special effects for its intro ever. Then a few months ago I saw the intro again, BOY was I wrong. Peanut Butter is good on a lot of things, celery, bagels, tortillas, ice cream, steak, pizza, lasagna, ceaser salad. Its one of those things that can go on just about anything

circumstantial tree
Regarding Land of the Lost, I was afraid of Big Alice.
