Pags
You're the greatest. I've never had the heart to post that. I hate it too. I once had this guy bring me into his garage to show me this shield he had made for the front of his truck. He was so proud of it. It said: "Spirit Of The Radio". I was like, Oh... um... that's really cool. I hope he didn't pay too much.

Not sure about Portugease (sp?) like our Brazilian friends speak... Absolutely - not an issue in my corner. Now, explain to me the English speaking population who get it wrong right after the proclamation of being the world's biggest Rush fan.
Slaine mac Roth
QUOTE (Moonraker @ Nov 29 2004, 04:06 PM) Lol, whats the matter with you, I always knew it was The Spirit Of Radio Funny, I thought it was just Spirit of Radio (goes to check Permanent Waves cassette and 12" single) Yep, no 'the' at all on them (yes, I know Geddy tends to announce it as THE Spirit of Radio - I'm just being pedantic ) Seriously, some of my firends at school were even more annoying when they used to call it THE Spirit of THE Radio and talk about the album called 'THE Farewell to THE Kings. How I never committed murder I don't know.

Indica
I hate that too. I don't know why, maybe because it's one of Rush's most popular, most played songs and some of the biggest Rush fans think it's "tHE SPIRIT OF tHE rADiO"
