foghorn-leghorn
Brucey, I agree Southampton did look a good bet to advance, but they have to be firm with their players and stop selling them to their rivals to have any chance of real progress. I would like to see team cardes limited, or the Giants will hoover up all potential talent, simply to avoid them signing for their rivals. I have already had a good moan about Chelsea signing one of our best youngsters, when he was too young to sign professionally for us. He has since been released, and bouncing from one lower league club to another. It's clear they made no real attempt to properly develop his huge potential. Look at that young Norwegian lad Odergard who was snapped up by Real Madrid. He has gone from first team football to what? The early years are vital in any player's development. He should have come to us when he had the chance ;) Then again, I believe he is on about 20 grand a week and he's not even started shaving yet.
Brucey
It's a shame, but yes the likes Odegaard will point out how much money they are earning if anyone questions their footballing career choices!
foghorn-leghorn
I got the lad's wages slightly wrong. Prepare to be staggered... Remember, he is just 16 years old.. http://www.totalsportek.com/football/martin-odegaard-real-madrid-salary-contract/
Brucey
Fecking hell! I'd happily join Real Madrid to not play first team games whilst receiving that wage packet.
foghorn-leghorn
This is the funniest football related story I've heard in a while http://youtu.be/CWzKXcsYju0 Absolutely Brilliant !!! What a character Cloughie was. He must have been really bladdered when he took the Leeds job, after the abuse he used to give them. I've read his auto-biography, but he left that Saunders classic out. I bet Archie Gemmil could tell some stories about him. Cloughie like the odd Jock in his side :D

foghorn-leghorn
I understand the English FA will be giving their decision on whether they will ratify The Chinese take over of Hull FC, on Tuesday. Potentially exciting times ahead. Remember where Chelsea and Man City were before the Money men took over? Nowhere, with hardly a trophy between them. Chelsea were becoming pretty good in the late nineties to be fair, got a couple of FA cups I think. But yes their takeover definitely took them up another level. Brucey
Slovakia 0-1 England, Lallana with the goal deep in added time Was Kane or Vardy playing? Kane started, Vardy didn't come off the bench. Personally, I would have played Vardy ahead of Kane, he just looks like a big useless lump sometimes, Vardy is the opposite of that, very exciting.
foghorn-leghorn
Come on Scotland, all we ask is that we qualify. Anything further would be an improvement on anything we have ever done beforeat International level. No pressure Gordon.

I can't understand why there would be any question over including Vardy. Seems a more natural goalscorer to me. Guys like him will always find space in the box.
