Lorraine
Well his last "comeback" lasted about a minute before he told the audience,"Sorry I can't do this". He had fallen into a deep depression due to his inability to play drums any more. Sadly,he hit the bottle big time and had become a recluse. He was asked to write some songs for the new Adele album, but none of his material made the cut. Let's hope he bounces back for the sake of his health. I do hope he is coming back as a drummer and not a "pop" singer. No commercial crap this time please Phil. Confine your love of Mowtown to the shower please. Finally, no more attempts at dancing either. He says he took cortisone shots for years to keep his singing voice going. I wonder if Geddy ever took those shots? Hard to believe such a talented man was such a mess. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/20/books/review/phil-collins-not-dead-yet-memoir.html?_r=0 I'm not sure what year this is from, but I noticed his voice, while still good, no longer had any strength behind it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=kfCRv_4NuWk
treeduck
Lorraine's Halloween costume was Phil Collins! Complete with fake bald cap, chin strap with iron filings for Phil stubble look, large false man's hands, and waist harness to create a bad back limp. Lorraine
Hurry and get your tix. Treeduck is paying for them. The current clamour for Phil Collins’ comeback tour tickets pales into insignificance compared to the frenzy surrounding his first appearance in Dundee 40 years ago, according to local superfans. Briefs for the star’s latest solo tour sold out in just 15 seconds after they went on sale recently and instantly began changing hands for up to £2,000 each online. https://www.thecouri...es-40-years-on/ Edited November 18, 2016 by Lorraine
