Both of you forgot about Supernaut.

No I didn't it just didn't make the cut. In fact there were at least 10 songs ahead of it that didn't make it either.

Blasphemy. Supernaut is top 10, maybe even top 5.

I may do a list later when I get time.

It's my favorite. I'll have to think about this list but it'll end up looking almost exactly like Bathory's. Maybe NIB in place of Warning.

Is Supernaut really your absolute Sabbath favourite?

I do like the song a lot but I couldn't put it in the top 10 or even the top 20.

All that said, the best Sabbath album is Heaven and Hell.

Even with 25 slots, this is hard. Since you said this doesn't have to be realistic, I left out many tunes they usually play (including "Black Sabbath").

1. Hole In The Sky

2. After Forever

3. War Pigs

4. A National Acrobat

5. The Wizard

6. Fairies Wear Boots

7. Killing Yourself To Live

8. Wheels Of Confusion

9. Behind The Wall Of Sleep

10. NIB

11. Johnny Blade

12. Hand Of Doom

13. Symptom Of The Universe

14. Megalomania

15. Lord Of This World

16. Spiral Architect

17. Supernaut

18. Under The Sun

19. Sabbra Cadabra

20. Dirty Women

21. Iron Man

22. Never Say Die

(encore)

23. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

24. Into The Void

25. Children Of The Grave

I believe frank zappa agrees with mr stormtron.

I think it's a classic but it's not even my favorite on vol 4...couldn't really rank the sabbath tunes on those early ones but into the void's always been my favorite song.

Killing Yourself to Live is probably my second favorite.

No it's interesting that's why I started this thread to see different Sabs opinions. It's all good. It's not like you selected Swinging the Chain and swore it was your ultimate Sabbath song!

If only they'd remaster it it might be able to show it's true potential. :smoke:

Does anyone have any of these 8 album box sets, like the Black Box or the Castle Records Replica CD collection?

Pretty good as far as I can tell, marked improvement over the poor Castle remasters.
