Long overdue. I saw Y&T on the Boardwalk a many Fridays ago. I was able to hang out after the show with the boys. John was not himself. Yet he played man. The sound was off on his guitar and I knew it. He asked me about it and I agreed that he was tuned way down. The boys still sound amazing. The highlight for me was "DOWN AND DIRTY!" I just got some comped tickets to see Y&T in BERKELEY! I am soooooo pumped Jonny! Y&T haven't played Berkeley Ca in 35 fuckking years! PUMPED!!!! Hope you and J are doing well amigo!!!! We are seeing each other for UDO not the Mystic right? I have my ACCEPT tix for Beverly Hills and Pasadena in Sept. SO STOKED! METAL LIVES!! So they thought they might as well pool their resources and have done with it. "YESTERDAY & TODAY""STRUCK DOWN""EARTHSHAKER""BLACK TIGER""MEAN STREAK""IN ROCK WE TRUST" After that well they went downhill while penning their biggest shit hit ever "Summertime Girls." The album "Down For The Count" was awful. "OPEN FIRE" was their live album before DFTC. "Summertime Girls was also on that live album. Pure shit. The Geffen years were ok but nothing great. The band put out a few more records after that but they were nothing. Some blame it on the record company A&M. Some say Dave sold his soul to the Devil. Perhaps too many drugs. Main street?
