RUSHHEAD666
No news is good news! I hope the 44 of you have listened to some of this record!I can't get enough! Same year "Permanent Waves" came out. Surprised Geddy could find the time to produce this awesome album.
Thunder Bay Rush
The only time I ever heard of Wireless was when they opened for Rush on the Hemispheres tour in Ottawa, 1978. I don’t remember anything about their set and I’ve never heard them on the radio. Not sure what happened to them. I live in the bush and my satellite Internet isn’t strong enough to listen to the album above… when I’m in the city next, I’ll give it a listen. You sound convincing! And, yes, where did Geddy find the time back in those days?
callmejim
Got this when it first came out. Yeah great album. Do you reckon Geddy plays the bass on "Timekeeper" ?
Hear Again
Recently found this on amazon combined with "positively human reletively sane" on the same disc. It's called "The Anthem Years".I liked both of these back in the day.Still sound great today!

There's some cool info in there about some local Toronto bands, only half of which I've heard of before. I was born in Toronto in 1970 and I've always been fascinated by local TO bands of this era. It even reminded me of a Goddo album on vinyl I've been meaning to pick up here in a second hand store lol Also it mentions that not only does Geddy produce this album but he's basically responsible for it happening. they were ready to pack it in but Ged talked them into doing another album! Nice, because this one rocks! Thanks again RUSHHEAD! Edited February 20, 2014 by MMCXII

And, yes, where did Geddy find the time back in those days? I am sooooooo jealous of you! You saw Wireless open up for Rush in 1978? I was 10 years old when "Hemispheres" came out! It kills my soul that I missed that tour but life goes on!!! "No Static" is actually the band's third album. The production is so slick. It's a great friggin' record!!!! "Positively Human" is their second album produced by one of the guy's in Max Webster! SRO Management had this band under contract. Geddy is beyond underrated in the production scheme of things. "No Static" simply RULES!!!!!

Rock Candy Records is sneaky and stealth like! They send out an "official" release email and then press other albums without telling us!!!! I wonder if Rock Candy will grow the balls to try and get some of the RUSH catalog. I can see them doing "Signals" "Grace" and "Power Windows." Why the heck would Rock Candy just get the rights for "Out Of The Cellar" and "Dancing?" "Out Of The Cellar" is a huge winner for Atlantic Records. They should have remastered it themselves! Humans still do buy cds!!!!!! Anyway what about the RATT EP CD? That thing has been out of print for decades!!!! Also what about Reach For The Sky? EPIC RATT! But yes, "Invasion" is the greatest RATT record! I saw that tour twice in 1985! INCREDIBLE! RATT N ROLL!!!!!!!

I was so excited and then I played the album and I was in utter shock.I thought it was boring and a big piece of plastic poop! The album did grow on me over the years but still it's their weakest album period. Even "Detonator" was better! I love that we are turning this into a RATT Thread! RATT N RUSH Two of the greatest bands in the world!!!!
