Interesting all the hate for the Eagles, but how many song titles you can use in your clever posts. Dog 'em all you want, but they could write catchy songs. As for the "no edge" comment, Life in the Fast lane kicks ass. Adding Joe Walsh made them worth listening to.

Joe Walsh is cool, no doubt. But they still bore me to tears :P As a comparison, you could say that someone like Fleetwood Mac is rather mellow, but they had BALLS ..not boring in the least...check out this version of Rhiannon, especially the last 3 minutes or so..The Eagles have never had this much fire, and FM wrote great songs as well

This will be my last Eagles bashing post...Ive always called what the Eagles write as " campfire songs "...nice, catchy tunes that you can play around the campfire with your accoustic...and there is nothing wrong with that..i think part of it is Henley and Freys arrogance..if they wrote tunes like Zeppelin or The Who, thats one thing..but they clearly have never

I actually like Joe Walsh, but the reason that we can use so many song titles in our posts may be more a function of lack of other entertainment opportunities during their heyday. I know I wouldn't have spent so much time listening to their songs if there would have been a decent alternative.

I love C-A-M-P-F-I-R-E songs. They do not deserve this heinous comparison. Elevator music in hell.
