Amsterdam fecking ROCKED!! We got to the front, on the barrier just to Alex's right. Awesome show, amazing atmosphere. That's the end of my, ahem, Headlong Flight for this tour. Six shows and ended on a real high. Still buzzing! :D

Same for me on the barrier, just a little bit to the right of Alex. What can be said about such an amazing show? It was my only show for this tour (and actually just my second time seeing Rush) and I just loved every second of it.

I wish they come back more often to Europe (and maybe a little visit to the south of Europe some day?)

really, seeing (and hearing) the CA songs live... I really love the album! before that i had my doubt's but now wow :notworthy:

Yeah, and the good thing for me is that songs I really didn't like on the album have been highlights of the shows, particularly Carnies. Couldn't stand it on the album but it really ROCKS live :haz: :D

Yeah, most often when I hear about rockbands adding strings live I go "oh boy, this can end in disaster", but then Metallica pulled it off. Well, to my ears Metallica are not as complex as Rush, so hearing how well the strings fit in live was awesome. They could just have played some samples, but that human element of playing it live really works well. And that string section rocks out on stage.

Those photos are brilliant, some of them are truely outstanding!!

Im gutted now I didnt go to Amsterdam this time around as the Ziggodome looks like a great venue.

Whats it like in comparison to the Ahoy??

Ziggo is a bigger than Ahoy, think it's 14k compared to 9k, don't have the exact numbers. And that's why 2nd ring was closed (like I predicted that in topic when euro dates were announced). Sound was very good, less "echo" than Ahoy.

Facilities are all up to today's a standards. A nice venue, but I can't say it's waaaaay better than Ahoy.
