  1. We were standing on Alex' side 1st part of the show (had to watch 2nd set from side cause the wife almost fainted), didn't think he was grumpy
  2. Ziggo is a bigger than Ahoy, think it's 14k compared to 9k, don't have the exact numbers. And that's why 2nd ring was closed (like I predicted that in topic when euro dates were announced). Sound was very good, less "echo" than Ahoy. Facilities are all up to today's a standards. A nice venue, but I can't say it's waaaaay better than Ahoy.
  3. Seats? So glad in Europe we don't have to sit (apart from the balconies) at concerts, what's the fun in that? Only time in Holland we had to sit was at the Roll The Bones tour.
  4. May 2 1988: Rotterdam Ahoy May 3 1992: Rotterdam Ahoy October 1 2004: Rotterdam Ahoy October 16 2007: Rotterdam Ahoy October 17 2007: Rotterdam Ahoy May 27 2011: Rotterdam Ahoy June 2 2013: Amsterdam Ziggodome
  5. I am really thinking Rush is making a big mistake by playing at the Ziggo in Amsterdam instead of good old Ahoy in Rotterdam. The reasons: Ziggo is twice as big as Ahoy, 15000 capacity compared to 7000. Last 2 times Rush played in Holland Ahoy wasnt sold out. Amsterdam is also a lot further away from Belgium than Rotterdam. Since Rush never plays in Belgium Im not sure if the belgian fans want to drive further to see Rush play. And last, the price. Prices are getting stupendously high. Tickets are now 40 euros (50 usd) higher since they played here last time. I'm hearing lots of complaints of Rush fans who will not be going because of this, me included.
