My_Shrimp_Cot
I almost forgot how beautiful the break going into the guitar solo is in this song. Holy crap. C
goose
Great song, and one that should have been included on this tour.
LedRush
QUOTE (goose @ Sep 20 2012, 06:45 PM) Great song, and one that should have been included on this tour. I would have bet that it was going to be on here. Perhaps it's still too painful for Neil.
Bangster of Goats
You know what the weird thing about Grace Under Pressure is in general? Even though this album was released 28 years ago, it's the one Rush album that sounds like it was recorded 100 years from now. Well, except for the "the Soviets are the blues!" line, that kinda places it in time, but whatev'.

The Vigilante
To me GUP was futuristic sounding like signals ... But with alot more songs sounding like a rock sync orchestration ...And i bet alot of thoose tunes would of went well with the strings.

Having all those digital sounds "analogued" by the string section would have been cool to hear.

NYM86
Wonder if it could've been a more effective 9-11 song than Bravado. Even though some of the lyrics describe anecdotes that are unique to Neil's experience (talking and drinking into the misty dawn and so on) the overall sentiments about someone suddenly being gone, reflecting on what was good about them, missing them, etc. still apply.
