Principled Man
QUOTE (Pound of Obscure @ Aug 13 2012, 02:09 PM)For all of life's unpleasantries and trials, life is never as good as when you are young. At 45, there is nowhere to go but down now. Poppycock!! I had a far better life at age 40-45 then I ever did at age 20....or 25....or 30. I'm 50 now, and I have no reason to even consider my life to be "going downhill". Life/happiness is completely one's own creation. Physical and athletic ability are mere facets of one's life. Wisdom, clarity, and self-illumination are far more important. Just my opinion....

LedRush
Yes. It's been a good ride, and if I can squeeze a few more years out of this ride by doing it again, I'd love to.
rushfanforever!
Relive my life?? Hell no, considering the horrible childhood I had with my abusive alcoholic father. I would want to hit the rewind button and start over and do some things much differently if given the opportunity....
clearingsky
I know that I'm quite fortunate to still be alive considering all of my "dumb ass" misadventures. I'll take what I have and "thank my stars" that I'm "not that way" and quite happily "live it all again" Much better than the alternative is my thought.
