I hope that facepalm is meant for Rush's decision to fade out the solo in the first place. Like I said, I hope Alex actually brings the solo out live. That's one of the first things I thought when I heard the song for the first time. BUT...nothing is ever a 'for sure' unless they state it. It's just as easy for them to simply finish the song with a final chord, while avoiding the solo altogether. But again...I'm hoping for the beautiful solo to close out the song.
