Live Nation presale....

Recommended Posts

Even though I got 17th row floor Alex's side on the MT presale, I decided to check the livenation presale for Columbus today, can't believe there are no floor seats at all! So glad I was able to luck out on Monday, and good luck to those who haven't been able to score any yet!

I'm sorry, there are floor seats, but of course its floor 4 and 5 rather than 1,2,3 which is a f***ing joke.

These presales make me so f***ing angry.

Oh and the password for the Columbus radio presale is qfm96...which also has jack shit for good seats.

Yeah... I can't find anything closer than row T for Columbus. This is really annoying

I can't find anything closer than Row T in the LOWER BOWL.

PASS

I just found Row Z FLR 3 again.

Desperate enough to take it.... maybe.

going platinum isnt supporting scalpers.

people need to realize that TM is owned by LN. LN is the promoter for this (and many other major bands) tour. the platinum pricing is built in to the guarantee the band gets.

it's still distasteful, but it's not the same as brokers scooping up the tickets and selling them purely for their own profit.. at least the band sees SOMETHING from the platinum sales.

Sorry I did just see one FLR3 Row Z on the Columbus Live Nation presale.

Guess I'm going to have to do TicketBastard Platinum this year.

Go Scalpers!! sarcasm.gif

now now... TicketBastard Platinum isn't resale, let's remember. They just jack up the price because they know they can...

Love me some TicketBastard.

I gave in and bought floor 3 row T. Alex's side, not too bad. How come none of these presales offer tickets on Geddy's side?

I can't believe you found Row T on the floor. That's incredible. I'm still only finding Row Z on Alex's side.

I'm with you. I want some Geddy side tickets.

I got ninth row in my presale. Someone else reported getting front row recently. It's possible. You're just fighting it out with a few thousand other people to get into one of the hundred seats in the first few rows. The process, and the scalpers, have very little to do with it. It's a numbers game, that's all.

Yeah and the good part is, I'm seat 3 so I'm towards the middle, not the edge. This is basically the exact same seat I picked up for Detroit. Row 20 isn't too bad, but I was definitely hoping for closer.

Oh, I know.

I was just making a crack at the process...I absolutely detest the ticket-buying process these days. It's brutal.

Yeah, TM is usually the way I always go. On the last tour, I got Row 6 seats from the Ticketmaster-run auction. Similar idea, I guess.

I would sure like to know which seating arrangement is correct.

MT has one layout and TM has another

Every chart I see lists the floor seats from either 1-12 or 1-14 starting with seat 1 all the way stage left. So floor 1 seat 1 would be against the wall Geddy's side, and floor 3 seat 14 would be the opposite wall.

..I think that's what you're asking

Yeah, in 07 I did an auction. Scored row 6 Ged's side. I think it was around 350 per ticket. But I was 17 then. I don't know. I wasn't as hung-up about spending that much money on tickets.

Now its like, do I really want to drain my bank account for Rush tickets? Of course I do. But should I?

The TM chart is more detailed but both are the same.. they just show it differently.

The first 3 rows will go all the way across
