Headlong flight recorded at a lower level.

One thing that I've noticed lately about "Headlong Flight" is that it seemed to have been recorded or at least released at lower level than other songs including the prior two from CA (Caravan & BU2B). I made a compilation CD of heavier stuff and I always have to turn up "Headlong Flight" when it comes on. If the other songs were recorded at 12bd its seems "Headlong Flight" is at 9 or 10db. Anyone notice this?

I would be bummed if it was recorded loud, so this is actually good news (even better if reports come in that there is no clipping!)

It sounded fine from what I heard but I only gave the iTunes download a quick listen and haven't had a chance to come back to it

Those bastards!

Yes. FWIW, Ted Jensen is not credited with mastering Clockwork Angels, only the previously released Caravan and BU2B single versions. Brad Gardner at Bernie Grundmans did the mastering for the album release of CA.
