Unleashed in the East - Judas Priest 1022.gif Tyrant, Ripper, Exciter - turn up to 11 - pure energy. Read somewhere that a fair bit of overdubbing went into it though....

Cheap Trick at the Budokan another classic for me. This band were destined to be mega...but seem to have fallen away. Saw them on tv the other night live at Donington - seemed a bit of a sad parody of themselves and no Bun E Carlos!

There are several Cheap Trick fans on this board who will strongly disagree with this assessment.

I love Cheap Trick, though I haven't followed their career closely. Just saying that their performance ( a couple of tracks) the other night shown on TV seemed a bit tired. The crowd reaction was good....just didn't come over good on tv. Are they still a top drawer attraction in the US? And what has happened to Bun E Carlos?? Maybe just an off night!

There's a new MSG album with Simon Phillips recorded at the Budokan.

Live in Tokyo 30th Anniversary Japan Tour.
