Ancient Ways
I saw this guitar a couple of days ago in one of those memorabilia shops and thought it would be cool to share a couple of pics. It is in a shop in the walkway between Mandalay Bay and Luxor. http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff143/croatoan84/rushguitar.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff143/croatoan84/rushsigs.jpg Edited July 29, 2011 by Ancient Ways

burgeranacoke
You should go in and tell them that the bass is Geddy Lee's stage instrument
Syrinx
Like Glenn said, those autographs are not real. Unbelievable. For what they charge at these places in Vegas, you would think you would get the real thing.
InvisibleAirwaves13
Crappy Starcaster guitar too...They should have used an Axcess! Overall a poor presentation and the sigs look wrong...

I hope they don't get some poor sap to pay thousands for it.

Yes. There is another shop in Vegas that I think is really cool. It's called Antiquities which is in Caesar's Palace Aniquities They have a ton of cool rock and roll memmorabilia, as well as some historical and other collectibles. The problem is that pretty much ALL of the framed autographed guitars are pieces of shit. I can't see paying 2-3 grand for a Starcaster. I talked for a while with the store manager and he confirmed that they pretty much keep a bunch of crap guitars on hand (or pick guards even) and then get the autographs on them. The Rush autographed guitar at Antiquities had autographs that appeared to be real, but I certainly don't trust them.
apetersvt
To add to my previous post, I checked out their website. They list two Rush items: http://www.antiquitieslv.com/catalog/RushPermWavesLp0713.jpg Asking $1295 for each. http://www.antiquitieslv.com/catalog/RushFarewellKingsLp.jpg
Lerxster
I'm no Rush sig expert, but on first glance something looked off about all 3 sigs. That sucks! Not sure what Rush can do about this, but hopefully no one will fall for it. Someone needs to write "FAKE" with a sharpie on the glass. That shit needs to stay in Vegas. Lerxster
I did a side by side check with my signed R3 poster. All 3 look fake on this geetar.
Syrinx
From a very quick glance, the lps look more legit. How can they sell a guitar and these framed items and the sigs look totally different. Shouldn't that raise a question or two?
