SignatureAurora75
***BUYER BEWARE*** I call bull $hit!! Whoever bids on that thing, if any, is taking a serious SERIOUS risk!! As someone pointed out before.. His low feedback and what little feedback he has on the same day stinks of scammer. As others have said, that price is not even close to value what the guitar is actually worth. It's a parts guitar probably thrown together from whatever he had lying around. However, covered up neatly I might add. But, people pay crazy prices for guitars, just look at Gibson and Lifeson laughing all the way to the bank for their insanely over priced Les Pauls! Someone could buy a cheap guitar and get all this $hit done with a good artist/airbrusher for a low fraction of the price he's askin. I would love to see the picture of Alex being presented the other guitar. I would bet it don't exist!
mrbarlint
Is this some sort of threat??? *** THIS IS IT *** THIS IS THE THIRD & FINAL TIME THIS GUTAR WILL BE LISTED. IF IT DOES NOT SELL IT IS GOING TO THE HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO IN LAS VEGAS.
Cowtothesky
Couldn't it just be some guy who brought a guitar he made to a meet and greet and handed it to Alex? He keeps one and sells it on Ebay as some rare 1/2 piece of rock history. Very suspicious.
The_Necromancer_77
Cool looking, but way too expensive for a grandma-esque collage that probably sounds really 'meh'.
SignatureAurora75
Somebody bought that thing for $1500. A lot more than the $250 offer I put out to him. http://cgi.ebay.com/ALEX-LIFESON-RUSH-TTM-...=item415bab678c
1-0-0-1-0-0-1
QUOTE (SignatureAurora75 @ Jul 31 2011, 05:11 PM) Somebody bought that thing for $1500. A lot more than the $250 offer I put out to him. http://cgi.ebay.com/ALEX-LIFESON-RUSH-TTM-...=item415bab678c It's sad that there was a sucker out there who paid that much for what is probably a crap guitar with a graphics overlay. That guitar is a $250 conversation piece, nothing more.
mrbarlint
That is pretty sad. I'm sorry to see that somebody got duped. Hopefully the "winner" does not post on this forum. The funny part is that the seller originally listed this guitar for $6,000, if I am not mistaken. Plus, he took a huge gamble by not taking Sig's offer of $250. The ad never even mentioned exactly what kind of wood was used to build this. Any guesses what it might be? Plywood?

Scars
While the "retrospective" is cool (except for the cut-off parts)--in the context of the black guitar, it looks absolutely horrendous. Is that an Ibanez? I'll give the guy credit for going the extra mile to make it look authentic, but the true problem here is that it's clearly NOWHERE near authentic. I would absolutely love to see this "full page letter complimenting us on our design, dedication and craftsmanship." Craftsmanship? The thing LOOKS like it sounds like crap. Also, note how the description says that two of those guitars were made, but on the back of the head-stock, it reads "1 of 1." Please guys, make all effort to report this item before some poor sap buys into this crap (literally). The Big Money
Looks like the Headstock says Dean Guitars on it or some other peice of crap brand and put an Alex Lifeson sticker over it to cover it up.
SignatureAurora75
I think it's back up for auction. I thought it was supposed to go to the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas. I guess they didn't want that piece of shit either. That guy ought to work for Gibson, since he likes to charge outrageous prices for guitars that are hardly worth the money they are asking.
