Duck
QUOTE (That One Guy @ Oct 24 2010, 11:07 PM) I heard Presto on the Time Machine Tour, and like everything else of the show, it sounded great. I have not heard any other song from the album. Should I buy it? That's usually how I buy albums. It's one of the few Rush albums I don't own. What other studio albums don't you have? That One Guy
Presto, Self-Titled, Hold Your Fire, Signals. I know, I'm shamed.
GeddyRulz
QUOTE (That One Guy @ Oct 26 2010, 12:45 AM) Presto, Self-Titled, Hold Your Fire, Signals. I know, I'm shamed. Get: Signals, Hold Your Fire, Presto, and the self-titled. That order. Presto is actually a very good collection of songs, but the songs need more "balls" to them. Ted Barchetta
QUOTE (That One Guy @ Oct 25 2010, 09:45 PM) Presto, Self-Titled, Hold Your Fire, Signals. I know, I'm shamed. Don't be ashamed; for the longest time (about six months) all I had was Moving Pictures, Permanent Waves and 2112. I was content until I heard Hemispheres. I needed to get that album. shaun3701
If anyone has the Presto remaster, is there much improvement over the original? Is there more "balls"?
rushgoober
QUOTE (That One Guy @ Oct 25 2010, 10:45 PM) Presto, Self-Titled, Hold Your Fire, Signals. I know, I'm shamed. Presto is by FAR the weakest of all four of those, so you have some great listening ahead of you.
Duck
Nah... Signals, RUSH, Presto, Hold Your Fire You can move RUSH to the back end of this list ONLY if: (1) you have heard the studio cut of Working Man (at sufficient volume, as per the album instructions) (2) After listening to it, you are like, "Meh." If all that awesome brit-blues-hard rock style Lifeson-operated guitar you hear in on that track doesn't do anything for ya, then there is no point in putting a priority on that disk.
