When they tour us fans like to get together before the shows since we all travel from all over to see them. We decided heck if we're meeting up let's do something good too! So years ago the Wishlist Foundation was formed! http://wishlistfoundation.org/ Now before each PJ show there is usually a party/fundraiser. Me and my oldest daughter organized the one that was here in St Louis last week. All the money raised is going to TTTS Foundation, twin to twin transfusion foundation. I lost one of my twins on New Years Eve 2008 from complications of TTTS. Anyway I just wanted to toot my horn and say that we raised $3132 at our party!!! http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/common001.gif We had so much stuff donated to raffle that at the end we were giving the winners several things. Everyone was just so awesome with their donations! Pearl Jam donated this sweet item that we auctioned for $1000 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/mindid/100_0930.jpg I also helped out at the party in Kansas City and we raised over $2800 there! The PJ community is very generous. http://www.therushforum.com/html/emoticons/heart.gif When they find out why I picked TTTS foundation, they donated and bought raffle tickets. It's all very sweet. I helped out at the party/fundraisers last August in Chicago and at those two we raised over $10,000!!! It's really amazing what can be accomplished.
