You Can't Fight It

I just came across this:

The A side was a cover of a Buddy Holly song called "Not Fade Away." The B side was a Lee/Rutsey song called "You Can't Fight It." These songs are not on any Rush albums. If you want to hear them, you have to track down a copy of the single, which is very rare, or find somebody who has the songs on tape. There is no collection for sale that contains these tracks. Or you could theoretically find it somewhere on the Gnutella network, but I would never suggest violating the copyrights of a company that was a member of such a fine organization as the RIAA

and was wondering if anybody had digital copies of these songs? I'm eager to have a listen.

Those covers are awesome!  Thanks for posting trink39.gif

I think You Can't Fight It was an original... wasn't it?

Side B contained an original composition, "You Can't Fight It", credited to Lee and Rutsey.

Back in 1973 it was a fairly commonly held belief that you can't fight it, but as we all know now, you actually can fight it. yes.gif

No pic no proof.

I know many will think I'm crazy, but I think this is the best original song Rush ever released in 1973.

I'd have to agree that it is way up there... unless you were being sarcastic in which case I never said anything ph34r.gif

I suspect you didn't read everything I wrote in what you quoted. wink.gif
