Earthshine
Sad and shocking news. The great Morris Pert, percussionist for Brand X and a ton of other bands and musicians passed away. He was engaged to be married. http://www.morrispert.com/ http://www.northern-times.co.uk/news/fulls...found_dead.html
sullysue
I'm sorry I've never heard of Morris Pert, but sad news nonetheless. It sounds like he was well respected.

missedexit
QUOTE (Earthshine @ Apr 30 2010, 12:28 AM) Morris also played on Mike Rutherford Smallcreep's Day. What a great album! RIP Morris. His playing in Brand X was amazing, as was everything else he played on, including Rutherford's solo album, and Mike Oldfield's material. A musician's musician. Earthshine
Morris was so unknown by the mass media and general public. Musicians with tattoos, body piercings, and foul mouths are all the rage now and on every magazine cover. I don't think Morris ever placed in any poll nor on any magazine cover, yet was more musical and creative than most.
