It's a team game, as such in the playoffs at least the winner needs to be determined with the entire teams contributing on the ice - five on five. The clock (or a shootout goal) should not help determine who gets The Cup. Unlimited OT is one of the things that makes hockey so great. I'll never forget the 5 OT Flyers Penguins game in 2000 when Keith Primeau scored the GWG at 2:30 in the morning! Of course I was asleep at the time of that goal, but still..
